Dude, awesome. I love this piece so much. As a middle school band director, I don't often get to mess around with the repertoire that I studied in college, but when I'm feeling good on the horn, this is the piece I come back to every time. It was a delight discovering your recordings of the accompaniment, so I'm writing this on all three movements. Will definitely be visiting the page again to look through the rest, thank you so much.
Hello Mr. Morakot How are you? I am a professional trumpet player and professor of music from Brazil. Congratulations for the piano parts of Eric Ewazen's Sonata. How could I have the piano accompagniment in high quality audio? I would like to record it for my online projects. Best wishes, Erico Fonseca
Guys, it’s called rubato. And the tempos are great! This is a duet not a trumpet solo, lots of give and take for both performers. I think the piano player in this recording nailed it

Nice job playing this!
Thank you so much for this!!!!!
❤️ thanks
This is great for what it is, and I'm sorry for being picky, but it would be so much easier to work with a relatively consistent tempo.
I agree. It sounds great and all, but trying to play with this would be tricky. Doesn’t sound like he ever used a metronome.
