For some reason I couldn’t get my pc to go into safe mode it would just reboot in regular windows it was the msconfig setting option that got my system to finally do it after several options & no end to sight… now I can use DDU to do a clean install of my gpu drivers for my 4090 Thanks a ton again !

I tired the last method and it still didn’t boot me into safe mode (I the DRIVER_VERIFIER_DMA_VIOLATION error) it keeps giving me the blue screen of death even after I tried entering a use with a media and going into command prompt and entering the command
So that I can help, please list the manufacturer and exact model number of the following components: 1. Motherboard - manufacturer and exact model number 1a. What BIOS version is on the motherboard, you can find out in the BIOS 2. CPU - manufacturer and exact model number 3. RAM - manufacturer and exact model number 4. Video Card - manufacturer and exact model number 5. Power supply - manufacturer and exact model number 6. Monitor - manufacturer and exact model number Redundant I know, but many people forget to enter manufacturer and exact model number 7. Do you have ALL of the PCIE connections plugged in, and not daisy chained or pigtailed, each coming directly from the power supply? 8. Are you running through HDMI, DP, DVI, VGA, any adapters? 9. Is UEFI or Legacy Setup in the BIOS? 10. What slots do you have your RAM installed in? 11.Do you have CSM Enabled or Disabled in the BIOS 12. I added a new user account, I restarted the computer and wanted to log in with the new user. I clicked on the newly created user and 'the user profile cannot be loaded' And it doesn't show me another user., I need to go back to the start screen to select the other user. Why doesn't the login screen show another user? I don't know how to go to the 'Start screen' to choose another user to login. I'm stuck in login screen I just want to go back to the start screen to switch the user, it's dell Inspiron windows 11 laptop..How can I leave this screen to change user without logging in to this user who does not accept it? I don't know how to safe mode startup
You can restart your computer and it will take you to the startup screen. If you hit control+alt+delete, it should allow you to switch user. As for Safemode, I show you how to enter safe mode here, have you watched the video?

Om my problem is my portable hard drive. Whenever I plug it in my windows file Explorer freezes and I can't browse my hard drive to see why it's acting up
Hey, great video. Sadly, none of those worked for me. I installed the newest NVIDIA Driver update and since then my screen has been completely black. I cannot access safe mode, nor can I access the BIOS. Do you maybe know why this is? Since I can’t access the BIOS I can also not do the last option you showed. I genuinely am scared that NVIDIA might have completely destroyed my PC. I would really appreciate a response. Thanks!
I showed you various methods, did you try them all, didn't involve the bios or a working bootable version of windows. Also, I completely doubt that your Nvidia install would have done that, the thousands I have installed and people I have worked with here, that hasn't happened. Your windows might have been in a bad state, it happens.
@@UnknownUser-rv8jv I will say that's odd though, dp usually is trouble free, HDMI has the most issues but maybe it's a really old dp cable or just not fully plugged in or maybe the input wasn't selected on the monitor .
@@ThisBytesForYou Thanks for the fast response. So, I am able to enter the bios and safe mode, BUT I cannot deinstall NVIDIA GeForce experience or what it was called. That’s the reason as to why my pc is broken (I think because instantly after I installed the current driver update my pc has been like this) but I can’t deinstall it. Whenever I shut my pc off or restart it from safe mode, my screen goes black. Whenever I restart my pc and enter bios and exit it, I get into the screen where you can enter safe mode. Genuinely nothing helps

I found many great videos on your channel which are really helpful like this one who made me remember the time when we were in trouble with those lovely messages of "bootmgr missing etc" years ago and this great command prompt lines with shutdown......oh man so many headaches years ago with Xp, shitty Vista, 7, 8.1 etc etc......we were learning at that time with command lines who to restore partitions, mbr and so on , Time is passing so much ! @@ThisBytesForYou So the download you had me download, it automatically did it and it was the "VMD_ROG_Intel_J_V19.5.1.1040_30721" exe file that got downloaded. I don't know how to get to the files within the exe and it doesn't exactly say how in the video you had linked me. The "5 files" that I need to copy over to the flash drive i cannot access because whenever I click on the download it just tries to make me open it and i do not know how to access those files within the download
Every time I have to troubleshoot a PC, I feel like an idiot that needs to have a voodoo stick. I searched everywhere on how to boot this thing in safe mode, and every website and video used a different key, turn off fast boot, press that key, turn on and off 5, 6, 10, times. WTF!!! Jumping through hoops crap with windows to do something specific is frustrating and foolish. I just through the piece of crap out the window and will be buying a Mac. Thanks anyway.
Ugh, why did they make the boot sequence so hard. I got the stupid “somthing happened and your PIN isn’t available” message and I’ve been trying but haven’t got it into safe mode yet…
@@ThisBytesForYou it goes right to the “pin isn’t available” screen right away with no other options. It seems like most can get into safe mode by simply holding left shift and restarting but that doesn’t work on mine. Like you mentioned, the hard restarts are tricky with a black screen start up. This happened after attempting a clean boot. Any other ways you know to over ride the pin screen would be greatly appreciated.
@@ThisBytesForYou I can get the specific message when I get back from the shop but, the pin and password isn’t lost, but the app the runs the pin is disabled, probably from the clean boot. When you click “set up pin” it then says it can’t find the app and goes in a loop.

Make sure there is a cable connected to the yoga from the keyboard, it won't work off of wifi/Bluetooth in safemode

Sounds like your drive is bad, try it on another machine and see if it works

Okay wait, so I just switched from my dp cable to hdmi and I was able to boot into the bios. I exited the bios and got into safe mode YESSSSSSS

When did this occur, was it after a failed overclock attempt, update driver, hardware update?

did you check your boot order and verify that your Windows Boot Manager is the first boot drive?

@@kaistein0323 double click on it, and chose extract, and extract it like i show you to a folder on a thumb drive. its just a bit different.
