- Hello everyone,
Ever wondered how the LMM team make a video, or what goes on behind the scenes, well today we share all in a video that Lawrie didn't even know was being made!
If you enjoyed seeing the video we shot of 111c at the Foxfield Railway, this is how we did it!
A massive thank you to the Foxfield Railway for inviting us along to film with 111c. If you want more information on the railway then check out their website here: foxfieldrailwa...
A video featuring:
Lawrie - Presenter, with not a clue of what's going on,
Ben - Camerman/mastermind, the man with a plan,
Rob - Camerman, filming for the first time at a railway.
A video edited by Ben

The Headboard reveal is truely something! Such a fantastic gift couldn't happen to a nicer guy! Well Done LMM & Crew!
Wow, I knew from trying to do a few decent video how many work is needed, but for the top quality of LMM, the amount of work is crazy.
Thanks to all the team and also the railway people for helping.
You're welcome!
So much work goes into making these look so cohesive and effortless. You are achieving amazing production value, especially for sich a small operation. Chapeau!
This was a fun companion piece to an excellently produced video.
Fantastic to see the incredible work behind the scenes to make LMM and Laurie look fab.
It's all in the colour grading :p
I love seeing how these videos come together, all the bits we don't normally get to see, looking forward to seeing more in the future!
Got to be honest lmm has to be one of the nicest youtubers. He's nice he always is active in his discord server and will respond to his dms. Most youtubers can't be bothered to talk to there fans tho lawrie does. Just shows how he actually likes to do this.
It's always fun to see somebody genuinly happy.
You so deserve that headboard Lawrie. Well done. You’re amazing.
Really cool to see how we get our videos and how they are produced . Thanks for making this insite video 👍😁👍
It's obviously a lot of work, but it's also obvious that you guys love doing this and have a passion for the trains and history.
Side note for my fellow sci-fi geeks out there...I clicked the thumbs-up button and it went to 42. 😁
Brilliant more please behind the scenes.
This was cool, it's nice to see the people behind the man the myth the legend! I hope every railway will let you run with your board, it makes for a nice new spotting game
Appreciate your hard work sir! :) It's easy to forget the guys behind the camera, but really they have the most and hardest work.
It always blows my mind how much organisation and prep thought is needed to make an enjoyable video. To then make a Behind The Scenes video of the main video that is just as coherent just makes my brain ache with the effort. How you don't spend the whole day panicking is beyond me.
…we’ve been ratted out 🤣
Thank you for this, I'd definately watch more behind the scenes posts along with the usual posts.
You guys do some incredible filming. Its now to a stage its as professionally produced as the actual TV documentaries on railways.
thanks
@@bwilesuk no problem. I really think every video has improved so much. The use of a drone and the GoPro's has helped massively on both the train and other vehicle videos.
Thank you!
Loved it
Nice to see some of the background work, makes me appreciate more what you guys do
And also what an amazing gift
I have already sub and like all your videos but even I am blown away and by the shear dedication from the team around you and hats of to them as for with out them lmm would simply not be what it is today for this alone people really should sub if thay are enjoying the video enough to watch them then the least thay can do is like and sub well done lmm for all the joy you have brought to me over the years
Nice video, know we know how these are made.Interesting.
I absolutely LOVE Lawrie (not in that way!) when he is not doing a review or anything. To be honest he has a great sense of humour! And I do like that new headboard! Keep the great work up!
Great video Lawrie. Ciao Hugh
Great to get a good insight in to what makes your videos, I thought there was running in and rope showing but not to such a huge extent, just for half-an-hour of footage. And the name board is absolutely deserved. What a brilliant gift.
Really good, enjoyed this insight, just goes to show years ago would have taken months and studio lighting effects etc , only top documented film crew , well done ,
To be fair, this still took 18 months of planning, prep and all the post production.
Really like the name change from lawries lackeys not gonna lie
I think we sometimes underestimate just how much time and effort in both filming and post production is put into these videos. To produce something as good as these is quite something, probably better than if they were made by Netflix. If I tried to make TH-cam videos, they’d be sh**t!
I think Ben should do more of these or have more camera time
Keep up the good work…. And maybe think about full time :-)
Thanks - to be truly useful I’d have to actually know a thing or two! Charles is much better suited for that reason. Full time could be fun, if not yet viable.
good vid on channel thanks lee
When do we get the behind rhe scenes for this video?
*commences frantic cat keyboard mode*
Looks like they you need a small campervan to aid filming.
Pro Tip Lawrie works better if fed
im thinking whats Behind the Scenes of Behind the Scenes ???
Well now we have a clear way to tell if Lawrie's there.
I will never NOT enjoy these.
Also, being the Friendly Neighborhood Nerd that I am... if I somehow ever get to meet you, Lawrie, I'm bringing a small basket's worth of USB and audio cables so that you have some spares.
