Great to see the hard work required to film Lawries videos. I am finding that promoting your heritage railways or museums via the power of social media and TH-cam do help attract not just the UK enthusiasts but other enthusiasts from other parts of the world who may decide to visit the railway or museum at some point. Even starting off filming short videos with a smartphone can help massively. A lot of my recent visits to museums and railways have been down to watching Lawrie and other TH-camrs featuring them on their channels.
What an excellent video, massive credit to all of the team and Lawrie for the amazing content you guys produce time and time again. You enjoy that half doughnut Ben! 😂
Congratulations Ben the narration and editing made it very watchable and that is the most important thing (watch out Lawrie you could be out of a job) ha ha
Legend says Lawrie is still sleeping in that coach til this very day. In all seriousness though, this video was very entertaining to watch and gives some good insight into what goes on within some of these videos. Very well done, and can't wait to see the next episode. 😄👍
@@lmm well the problem is I'm trying to produce similar content as you. But I've got to do everything by myself and with Lawrie getting help and sponsorship it upsets me.
@@stevengorick187 @stevengorick187 I've gone without taking a wage for 5 years trying to make the channel work. It's not quite there. It's taken 5 years to be able to get a regular sponsor. Getting a sponsor means that I can survive and continue to make content. There's almost 450 videos across my channel in that time, don't you think I deserve a break?
@@stevengorick187 I mean, you don't really do similar content from a quick glance mate, you visit places with a camera like any other visitor can and does do. Also, 2 years and 59 vids vs 5 years and 447...
Introducing Lawrie's Meniacal Minions
We would sponsor this series.
As one of the minions...it annoys me that works.
Lol
Props to you for showing off the folks behind-the-scenes mate! :)
Thanks buddy!
Thank you for all the work you put in to make these excellent videos Ben, and the rest of the camera and editing crew.

Next episode- the lackies push Lawrie down the line in a freight car
I also love the shots of the locomotives steaming up in the yard.
I love statfold barn
Glad to see Lawrie's Lackies getting the spotlight! It's good to see how the sausage is made. TH-cam isn't for the faint of heart
Thanks Lawrie (& Ben) for the behind the scenes stuff! 🙏🙏

Great video. Ben is a very natural presenter! Perhaps you should swap roles.🤣
Ooo I don’t know about that. I know diddly squat about engines
@@bwilesuk Does Lawrie? I think he pretends really with his grease nipples🤣🤣
Ouch
@@lmm Was only meant in jest Lawrie! You obviously DO know your way around a steam loco!😀😀
💔
That was a really good video to watch!
I'm sure I'm ot alone in assuming that Matt was lawries cameraman
Matt hasn't actually done anything for the channel in almost a year.
What an excellent video, massive credit to all of the team and Lawrie for the amazing content you guys produce time and time again.
You enjoy that half doughnut Ben! 😂
*wipes face* shhhh! What doughnut? 😮 😅
Ben deserves his cream tea and Sandwich! Really enjoyed the behind the scenes video.

I think ben did a great job filming this video
Thank you 🙏🏻 it was nice to be allowed to go film and fly broadly everywhere across site.
Ben must be bloody tall to get some of those overhead shots.
So tall
I have no idea what you mean about it being wet that day... i only had to dry out twice per hour
Just damp then!
Out of curiosity when was this recorded because I started volunteering there and I want to know if I missed meeting lmm
This was the first Enthusiast Day of the year.
I'll be back for more events later 😂
18 March - the date pops up in the video 😬
Lawrie, Lorie, Lorry ...... please ...its SCONE,not SCONN.
As a Devonshire lad (we invented cream teas), I should know 😋
Tbh, I normally call it a scone when sweet and a scon when savery. But it was presented to me as a Scon, soooo I did as told
@lmm When do you ever do as told hahahah. Great video lawrie. And as always thanks for taking the trouble to reply my good man!
