lots of comments about burning down the museum, don't worry haha, i didn't do this there, it was my garage in garden. Wouldn't dare get firey with all the old stuff around!!! :D. hope you enjoyed the revisit of the flamethrower organ Concept! let me know if you'd like to see more! (not that you'd have a choice haha, The video's are solely dictated by what i've found myself obsessed by at that point in time haha). When building it i had a bunch of things i wanted to do to improve Pitch Drift, Ease Of Tuning, Pressure Regulation, Temperature Regulation, Hardy Spark Gaps and general improvement. But time really got in the way of all of them for this one! In the new year i hope to have a video with a test setup with some novel ideas i really want to try ( pragmatic and practical to achieve, got a plan!!! you wait waaahaaha) i am dying to try with flamethrower organ pipes that i think will take them to another level. The next tests really should answer what is actually effecting the tune. i brush over it a tad in the video but it might not be temperature, but more gas mixture within the pipes resonant chamber. (thats actually the theory i had over temperature with the first flamethrower organ), but i have a plan of how to figure that and hopefully solve. Also from a material stand point, if it indeed was temperature and expansion of Copper we are dealing with, surely as the pipe heats the pitch goes down, yet it goes up. this points more towards either gas mixture, or gas temperature, however the plan i have solves all 3 of these problems in one fowl swoop! so its fine lol. It's gunna be more complicated (but also look cooler too so there is a win haha). ANYWAY! MERRY CRIMBOOO.
My guess (and hope!!!) is a feedback system that automatically adjusts the pipe length as it is played so as to get the right pitch at all times. Yes? PLEASE?
It would be nice when the flame comes out of the pipes´end. Wouldn´t it be possible to make the sound with air and bring in the gas into the pipes ends with a second valve. So the tune would be more stable and the pipes would stay much cooler.
@@joligrunlaub3412 problem is then it is just an organ with flames on top. for me it is about the fact that the fire is directly related to the sound that is the magic. if flames on top it would just be for show. sort of cheapens it.
Ooh sorry the adhesive failed in the mail! Glad I mentioned it in my video because I knew hot glue wasn't right. But it's also not right to send a smelly gift, and epoxy would have been. 😆 I knew you would slay at performing with these! I've published all the files for this project, so you can swap out the sounds. 🎮
Back in uni some mates of mine had a band that played, as they put it, "computer game music on real instruments"... But they also had one case of playing a real world song on computer instruments - so a DDR dance pad, a couple controllers, a keyboard (102-key Danish layout, not a piano one), etc. It was amazing.
Perfect gift for Colin. Safety level is questionable, coolness is off the charts for something that is literally on fire and Colin and things with fire is just on point. Copper pipe thrown in for good measure for the former life plumber just rounds it off nicely. Don’t worry about the budget you saved on the shipping charge as you made a video about fixing the car so even though it cost a small fortune it’s a complete tax right off so money well spent for $0 shipping.
It's simple at sight but extremely complex once you start pointing out the diffculties with maintaining pitch and fidelity. I don't know how much you wanted to impress Colin but you created one of the best gifts in the series! You also received a very personalized tribute to your own work as a gift. What goes around comes around!
This Old Tony, Colin Furze, and Look Mum No Computer are my favorite 3 every year for what they make for secret Santa. Pleasant surprises this year was Becky Stern, Xyla, and Hacksmith.
I haven’t had this much fun since your Furby Organ lol. Thanks for taking the time to explain things for those of us not inclined to DIY music/electronics. 😊
Every time I watch your videos I'm just in awe of how much work you put into each and every project. If I only had 10% of your drive to see things through, I'd be a completely different person. Such creativity and drive that you possess should be sold on bottles, it's borderline supernatural!
Man that brief encounter (I'm assuming it was you giggling in the background) was too short. I would LOVE to watch you and Colin just hang out and do mad shit for a day.
16:00 I'd recognize that sound anywhere. Minesweeper for the Vectrex. Played the snot out of that console as a kid. We had several controllers and quite a few games. One of my sibs still has it kicking around their basement.
These secret santa videos I only just found out about the other day. They are now something I will look forward to every year. This is how the TH-cam community should be!
This has been so fun! I started through Alli, then to Crescent Shay, and then found all the rest of you through the playlist. Everyone has made fantastic gifts for one another, and the fun and thought you all have put into each creation is inspiring and heartwarming. In your case, entire house warming!!
I follow several Makers and I must say - - - this is one of the most incredible things I have ever seen. AT 60, I have been watching Makers for some time. Awesome Job!!
Add a water feature to the flaming pipes, and it can be water cooled to keep the pipes in tune. Maybe trickle water down the steel, which can cool the pipes. Maybe add more connection points to allow faster heat transfer. Love this project!
That instrument is a beautiful dream. I whish I could play on that.. I love organs, and I love fire. thats why I am a volountear firefighter (and to help people)..
The kids brought their Xmas germs home from school last week for me, so I'm sitting here watching this and Sam jumping about at 11:50 I laughed so much I honestly nearly died coughing. Fab project!
My suggestion for enchanced spark: connect all the neutrals to the pipe assembly and run a hot wire to each pipe for making the spark gap from the pipe to the wire. But really the answer is to use car spark plugs, so you can say "Sorry I'm late, I had to change the spark plugs on my pipe organ."

@@LOOKMUMNOCOMPUTER That´s a good point. I didn´t see it from this side. Thank you for your answer.
This is epic, i loved that i had to film you dropping it off in secret......we are so stealth
Love this...thanks guys ; )))
hahaha 🤣 yeah i know right! had to keep it in
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
we can hear your nose whistling
I have a feeling it's not going underground.

awesome thanks a lot becky :D gunne be awesome!!!! and theyll be at pride of place for people to play on at the museu,m :D :D :D
A synth in a controller is such a great idea! Good job!
@BeckyStern how comes your not verified yet. you are an amazing channel to look at, you deserve it
i knew the ear would pop off when you packed it 😅 but it's super cool project 🎉❤

This is giving me Rubens tube vibes from a few years ago! Can't beat fire+music!
That was definitely a successful gift.
Nice, someone else who knows nigel stanford
Truly a gift suitable for someone who's spent the last several years building underground rooms out of steel plate.
Little risk of fire, but suffocation could be a significant issue if allowed to run too long 😆
@@charles.coslorthat’s just an extra incentive to answer the bell :)
That Colin impersonation was so spot on! 😂
Love this! Make me wanna dust off our Fire and Water shooting piano. 🔥 great Colin impression
Oh gosh yeah!!! Where is that!?
That’s the perfect level of “sketchy” for Colin 😀
My thoughts exactly.
I like when the gifts are suited to the person receiving them. Cool you got a musical device and made a flamey doorbell for Colin.
That is a significant amount of fire. A good fire to music ratio.

"If it looks right, it probably works." That's really my philosophy for life.
Probably the best build + receipt of a gift this cycle
This Old Tony, Colin Furze, and Look Mum No Computer are my favorite 3 every year for what they make for secret Santa. Pleasant surprises this year was Becky Stern, Xyla, and Hacksmith.
I love how you've saved Joans organ. I wonder how many have been scrapped and forgotten.
I think you did a FANTASTIC job getting that "Colin Furze" aesthetics! It really does feels like something he would build!
I haven’t had this much fun since your Furby Organ lol. Thanks for taking the time to explain things for those of us not inclined to DIY music/electronics. 😊
I actually found this channel from looking up one of the songs colin played in the background on his videos a few years ago. Loved it ever since.
Every time I watch your videos I'm just in awe of how much work you put into each and every project. If I only had 10% of your drive to see things through, I'd be a completely different person. Such creativity and drive that you possess should be sold on bottles, it's borderline supernatural!
Fascinating. This is the only time I've ever been interested in organ music. All it needed was fire.
What an excellent Colin Furze voice-over!!
Man that brief encounter (I'm assuming it was you giggling in the background) was too short. I would LOVE to watch you and Colin just hang out and do mad shit for a day.
This was my favourite secret santa this year! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Greta work Sam! A very fitting gift for Captain Chaos (aka Coin Furze)! 🙂😎❤

i love that the time collin got you he recoder himself dropping off the present too!!
I love this so much. I need one. Seriously
I think the is the best gift of the whole series!!!!
these really are my favorite videos of the year. thank you
The best one by far! Nice one.
I think this is my favorite build of this year's Secret Santa!

You're a crazy man Sam..... And that's why I love what you do!!! 😁💖🔥
I was waiting for the theme to "It Ain't Half Hot Mum", but alas, the grinch (YT copyright detector) is at large.
Great thing you've made there mate.
Astounding, and inspired. Thanks.
Flaming good gift!
Lots of excellent gifts, but yours is truly a perfect fit. That is as Colin Frurzistic doorbell as there could possible be.
Wow, definitely one of the most exciting gifts.
Anything with fire is perfect for Colin Furze. Always love your videos
This is such a great make and a perfect gift for Colin.
That instrument is a beautiful dream. I whish I could play on that.. I love organs, and I love fire. thats why I am a volountear firefighter (and to help people)..
Brilliant! As always.
Awesome. Awarding project and awesome video too. Thank you!
a festive and musical fire hazard, that's a great combo
I love musical instruments that require you to have a fire extinguisher on hand!
Seriously, I like the (off)tuning. It's exciting!
I love how you can hear Colin breathing behind the camera at 14:30 and then Sam laughing with him at 14:43.
This was a huge amount of work for such a fast project.
This is positively the whackiest Christmas gift I've ever seen. Great job, this was really fun to watch 🤣
You win the coolest secret santa award IMHO. 🙂
That voice over is amazing. I wouldn't mind hearing that in the future.
Brilliant. Merry Xmas!
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS WAS AMAZING :D
can't wait for the Mark II :D
The kids brought their Xmas germs home from school last week for me, so I'm sitting here watching this and Sam jumping about at 11:50 I laughed so much I honestly nearly died coughing. Fab project!
Colin Furze,
Uh Oh Fire!
Mate I have another favourite, just the way he acts is epic GOOD JOB
Sam, Kudos for making such a lovely Menorah 🕎
Hahaha that's awesome 👌
The different days are shifting all around. It's like rapid time warping through Hanukkah.
Who else would a direct comment be for?! lol No need to say his name to flex that you actually know it 😂😂😂 Most of us here do!
It really would be a miracle if this thing lasted for eight days.
Does my heart good to see embossed Dymo labels on a project!
yo best one yet. my no1 pick for best santa so far
Brilliant Colin Furze impression.
Amazing creation .. Fair play Sam!
Ow man Collin will love this
I really liked this.
Sam, you're a bloomin' loony. Absolutely love it!
Very impressive !
This is awesome
Love the FurzeVoice narration bits 😆
Gotta love the insanity of this all
Those hymnal numbers at 1:25 are all just one number off of a good time... Haha. Maybe i owe you own, mate. Have a ball
I don't get the joke....
Mad as a cut snake, mate! 😂😂😂 LOVE IT!!!
Mate legit made a work of art for secret santa... what a bloke
3:57 I replayed this bit about 7 times 😂
I am so happy with this.
This TH-cam channel inspired me to make a midi controlled pipe organ years ago
That's a door Hell's Bells ! 🤘
only a few gifts are truly personalized and i think the sound board thingy is one of them
This is just insanely great :)
DOOD! You're the best Santa ever!
Best year of YT xmas yet!
That is right up Colin's alley.
Told my friends about you... you're an inspiration.
Crazy!
Amazing work, Sam!
Had to Subscribe. Will check out more over Christmas when I need a break from restoring my JDM cars. Hello from Australia
Loved the Furze commentary!
I absolutely love your madness 🔥🌪
Merry Christmas, artist
Heartwarming
OOOoohhh Christmas treeeee....
Every Time I hear your commentator voice It makes me smile haha

Best on youtube!!!
BRILLIANT!
The one-digit less meme numbers cracked me up
So good
This is amazing
