    I very rarely leave comments on videos and I'm sure there's other videos that explain this but your video was the first one I found and I immediately went to Amazon and found the silicone cookie molds. I've never done chocolate-covered Oreos but my daughter requested it for her baby shower which is my first grandbaby so I wanted to give her what she wanted and I swear that these came out so beautiful and smooth and clean and I truly appreciate you posting this video because it really saved me from providing a lumpy chunky covered Oreo. I even thought I pushed the Oreo cookie down too hard but they still came out beautiful. Thank you so much

      @dudemorris7769 ปีที่แล้ว

      The mold should automatically pull away. Place in the fridge and not freezer as you don’t want them to freeze. They will immediately pull away if you sit them on the counter for a few minutes and slightly twist the molds. If it’s silicone molds as long as they are completely dry then you can physically turn the mold inside out to pop them out. Make sure you are tempering the chocolate if it’s real chocolate and not overheating it & if they are the candy coating wafers they don’t need to be tempered, just melted.

      @@michellemartinez9112 you're on the right track..making desserts before an event is very stressful ..preparing it ahead of time is so much better because it gives you time to do it slowly and if you make mistakes, you're not hard on yourself. Desserts should be prepared atleast a few days before the event unless its icing or cake

    I tried to do this but every time I take out from the freezer to look at the results the chocolate just melts in my fingers. What I’m I doing wrong? I’m I using the wrong chocolate?

      I put mine in the refrigerator - Maybe you just need to leave it in the fridge for a longer period of time (when you take the moulds out of the fridge, make sure the chocolate is 💯 solid/hard) …

      No fridge needed. Just an airtight container at room temperature. 😉

      Hi Alfreda,
      I usually color some of my white chocolate with Chefmaster Candy Color, but you can also use colored candy melts for the drizzle. 😊

    Loved this video it was easy and concise. If I wanted to add pop sticks into it when is it recommended to do insert? I would love to make a Mother’s Day bouquet for an Oreo cookie lover

    • @ChellsSugarRush

      Thank you Adrianna! ❤ When I add sticks to these or my rice krispy treats I heat the pointed end of a kitchen thermometer and make a hole in the bottom for the stick. I do this after the chocolate is hard. Hope this helps! 😊

    • @ChellsSugarRush
      @ChellsSugarRush  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could also insert the sticks before dipping, but you would not be able to use a mold.

    Can you make this 24 hours before you plan to serve them? If so do I keep it refrigerated or can I leave them on my counter top?

    • @ChellsSugarRush
      @ChellsSugarRush  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      You can make these up to two weeks ahead, because it's cookies and chocolate. They will last even longer, but that's the longest ahead I have made them. They just need to be stored in an airtight container on the counter. 😊

    Do you place them back in the freezer after you drizzle

    • @ChellsSugarRush
      @ChellsSugarRush  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The drizzle will set quickly on its own, then you can just put them in an airtight container in the counter. 😊

    Do you prefer plastic over the silicone

    • @ChellsSugarRush
      @ChellsSugarRush  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! I do prefer the plastic molds for the oreos, because they just pop right out. Also, you can move the plastic mold around without worrying about it bending and spilling the chocolate. 😊
