Thanx for inspiring me to do the following: the momentary switch is my rescue mode, but i really wanted a momentary switch to reset my timer also. Made a logical switch with the edge function where the momentary switch and throttle cut have to be met, in order to reset the timer. Great!

Sounds good! Glad you were able to take advantage of the concepts to get your radio doing what you need.

Interesting. For setting and resetting timers, I found your tutorial on creating additional temporary switches using T5 and T6 more practical because then you don't have to remember how long to hold the temporary switch.

Yeah I hear you. This is just another way to use the radio capabilities.

Your videos are very good, and I'm thinking of applying some of your options, these radios are really incredible, the number of possibilities they allow you.
As always, excuse me for not expressing myself well and using a translator.

Finally the difference between sticky and edge is now clear in my head (just a couple of neurons left, but they do the job). 😂😂😂✌️

Save some room to remember the edge switch conditions :) I still have to look those up sometimes.

Great video, another piece of art from the master. Extremly useful for my e-powered gliders, i use this setting for the total flight time instead of timer one whitch still is triggered by the throttle..thanks al lot

Very nice work with the tutorials, you do a great job thoroughly explaining and simulating the chosen topic. I use my momentary switch to announce the lowest cell voltage when pulled and pack voltage when released for my planes that have voltage sensors. I haven't used instant trim yet but if I do it will get added to the momentary switch 😊

Very good feature, I'm glad you showed it. My question is: can I also set it to beep in every second when I holding the switch so I don’t have to count the seconds myself?

Any chance of a "how to setup a helicopter" clip ?
    Keep up the great work.

I'd be happy to do one if I knew the first thing about RC helicopters. I've never flown anything other than little toy helo's and quads. So I'm afraid I wouldn’t be very useful on that subject.
      Appreciate the kind words though...

Really glad you showed up in my search results. Your manner of teaching is excellent and I am working through your play list.
Is there a list of all the commands in Open Tx, e.g you used EDGE , I had never even seen that , let alone had it defined.
    Many thanks

      First, Welcome to the channel.
You'll want to make sure you have Companion downloaded and use that because the tutorials will utilize Companion for configuration demos going forward. You can always look at the functions available under the Logical Switch tab and the function drop down list. They're all listed. Very easy to do in Companion.

@@RCVideoReviews hoping to figure out through trial and era at the moment with doing mixing off of the gear 2 position switch for mixing in gear doors and other delayed scale effects. Open tx seems to be the way forward once we all learn its power

    • @RCVideoReviews
      @RCVideoReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Get into companion and play with it. There are delay functions in several places. You can also chain logical switches together.

@@RCVideoReviews thanks my man, the model I'm hoping to build uses the main gear door as the speed brake. Then there is spoilers on the wing to assist tailerons, and each turn off as wing sweeps back. Eg F111C similar in function as F14
