Such beautiful and unique voice. ☝ Notice 95% of his T.V. performances he actually sang.☝No lip syncing needed when you have a God given talent. 👏

My parents were big into country music and a local radio station was doing a remote giving away prizes - my first album ever was an Eddie Rabbitt one that featured "Rocky Mountain Music". I have been hooked ever since. My favorite country singer. He was kind of a renegade at the time because he easily crossed over to pop. RIP Eddie!

Idk why I watch this every few months. I’m with the love of my life….
But this one… this one… it makes me feel more than lucky, loved, or even blessed…..
More like a gift that I don’t deserve with gin.

Was in love with a beautiful redhead named Rhonda when this song came out. This song was playing when a great friend I played Jr. College basketball with suggested that I first ask her out. Well....Rhonda was gone in about a year but my friend remained until he passed away. Every time I hear this song I think about him. RIP Thomas

I was 6 yrs. old when this song came out in 1981 and I remember it was one of my favorites. Although we didn't have the Internet to look up lyrics, I always thought it said "First Step...Ask out Arthur Treacher Like a Lady" LOL! That was the chain franchise for seafood/fish n chips in the 80s and I truly believed that is what the lyrics said...LOL TOO FUNNY!

I had this crush with Tania , a beautiful brunette, tall and skinny as a palmtree
this was the song of that time, and I wish I had the nerve to steal a kiss from her at least once. but she wasn't into me, so I had to let her go,
funny, two weeks later I was into Francisca, a blue eyes blonded that took me in a blink, had a lot of fun with and almostv marry her
but the brunette.... never forgot that I had to let her go without a kiss, jeje
    to her this song...
