Hi NATA5II, Apart from evolutionary changes such as slightly improved button response, better active area surface texture and improved drivers, the main difference is that the Intuos Pro comes with the handy wireless module.
From Serge Birault : - He uses an 8 years old Intuos3. His next one will be a Bamboo. - A 6 years old computer: Intel Quad Q9400 2,6Ghz and Windows Vista (Yes, it's true). - A 12 years old Mitsubishi Diamond Plus 92 CRT monitor. He can work on 1 meter tall .psd file with more than 1 000 layers without lag ... You can ask to nearly all the illustrators he knows, you will have quite the same answer. You would not do better pictures because you owned "trendy" or expensive stuff. It's only tools.
As ShadowLinkxMaster suggests the buttons do have a more tactile response, also the addition of the wireless module in the box means you no longer need to purchase this separately.
Hi Majeed, Thanks for saying so. The only difference between this model and the special edition is the special edition has silver accents above and below the active area.
Thanks! Looks like Wacom have gone back to the old Wacom Intuos 4 type buttons rather than the capacitive touch type on Intuos 5 - Do you prefer these? All of the other specs. look exactly the same as Intuos 5, 2048 pressure levels, 60 deg. tilt etc.
I am looking to get either the Intuos (medium) with wireless accessory or the Pro (small). I draw but am far from a professional. Currently I use my iPad mini and Adobe Elements for my work and am looking for something with more features and accuracy. Any thoughts are helpful. I watched both reviews and they were good but hard to decide between the two devices.
Hello i hope you could help me with deciding if i need to get the intous pro medium or large.Currently i'm using a large tablet and i got used to it a lot. I draw with my full hand in action. I borrowed a small tablet and failed to draw comfortably with it.Since there is quite a price difference i am not sure if i should buy medium size(people suggested it would fit my art and my skill level) or rather a large one to which i am already used and with which i would surely feel comfortable.
Cual me recomendais para emepzar a dibujar con esto? Muchas gracias... La Wacom Intuos Pro por 200€ esta bien no? o es todo marketing y mejor pillarse una de 100€? Muchas gracias Un saludo.
I think per app settings have been there at least since intuos 3. Might have existed before but I wouldn't know.
The reason you buy the expensive stuff is not to make better pictures, but to make pictures more efficiently.
how can you know where to draw if you vant see it on the tablet?

Hi MisterUnknoVN,
Yes the wireless kit is included with all Intuos Pro tablets for the first time, very handy!
Thanks for the question.

Ooh I see, the small is actually a decent size. I think I will get that one instead. Again, thanks for the review!

Will I be needing one for a Graphics Design A Level course?
You don't really need this one, you could just get a bamboo splash (also from Wacom), or any other model :).
Which one would you recommend for someone who wants to do digital artwork, the small or the medium?
Good review! Could you tell me if the wireless kit is included here?

What's the difference between the intuos5 and this model?

Which one was displayed here? The small or medium? EXCELLENT review by the way!
The Intuos Pro doesn't come with Photoshop no, this would be a separate purchase.
Does it come with programs to draw/animate with or do you need to buy it yourself?
dose it come with photoshop?
