The Night Elf music and the ambience of their forest areas were absolutely mesmerizing to me as a young kid playing WoW. Just pure bliss... the music and ambient noise brings me to another place where I almost feel like I'm really there. That with the constant mysterious threat of the hostile enemy faction roaming around in Ashenvale... it is simply perfection.
Love this video! Being a Night Elf fanboy, Darkshore/Ashenvale has always been my favourite zones to level in and I did it countless times as leveling is my favourite thing to do in WoW. I just simply love the aesthetics of all of the Night Elf zones and the soundtrack is so soothing to me I even have a selfmade playlist of all of the Night Elf music there is. Thnx for the video, keep up the good work!
As a boring and playing it safe human warrior lol Thank you for your service NE ❤ 😅 with out night Elves we wouldn't have interesting and beautiful questing zone darkshore and ashenvale
Holy moly, how can you spawn just there with such epicness content and give us only one episode. Can't wait to watch more of these kind of episodes... Well played, you got me hooked all along the video. As being on my 30th try in hardcore classic and 5 lifes later after doing ALL quests, I realize I do enjoy Ashenvale more than I expected and you almost made me nostalgic about this.
I am ALL about this content. I havent played wow in about 5 years, and before that my main had something like 8 years on record. This sparked so much nostalgia for me. I really hope this channel blows up. Your quality, attention to detail, and formatting are all top teir. Best of luck man!!
My favorite quest in ashenvale is one from horde side. You have to take a banner, plant it on a hill, and fend off waves of furblogs. A literal King of the Hill battle
This is such a good video! I have been making a video on the Lore of Ashenvale this week because of the impending Season of Discovery! Zone Retrospective series is a must! Keep it up
I always forget, between alts, just how much there is in Ashenvale. Also, as far as overall ambience, I think the only zone I'd place on the same level, for me, was Grizzly Hills in Wrath. There's a unique thing about Ashenvale, that you step off the path, and you genuinely feel like you are off in the woods. Even the jungle of STV, you never really feel like you are really more than a couple steps off the main path. But Ashenvale, you actually can feel like you are in a deep forest all alone.
Yea the music... every time I go there the eerie music brings back memories and I turn it up. I had never played a video game with other people, had no idea what I was doing, and spent more time leveling in this zone than any other getting ganked here.
Your content is excellent. Keep it going you found a fan. I played WoW when it was released and when Classic came out. One thing you missed, off the top of my head, was the quest item drops you received from the named mobs. I believe it was 3 mobs and a lot of xp
It was a close contender for me. I do like that quest, but due to usually having just done a very similar questlines in the barrens it doesn't stand out to me as much as the other horde quests on Ashenvale 😅
Brother this is my first video that I’ve seen of you, that was enjoyable to the max, I loved the lore you spoke of the visuals and the nostalgia you tossed in. I hope you keep making this type of content from all the zones and bring us more wow news. Thank you my friend you gained a subscriber 😊
My favorite part of ashenvale that you didn’t mention is the howling vale. All the lvl 28-30 werewolves and the ONE rare mob that drops nice leather armor is perfect for this area.
I remember looking up wow images on google images back in 2005 and this was one of the zone maps I saw while playing runescape on my potatoe pc. God, the memories. Hunters have always looked cool to me so as soon as I got a gaming pc back in 2013, I got a subscription to wow and made a night elf hunter and it's been my main ever since.
Mate, youre cool! I have just the same thoughts of the game about nostalgia and ambience and coziness, etc... It is just nice to feel that there are folks that experience WoW in the same way as myself! Keep creating!
Ashenvale is my all time favorite zone. I still remember running around there on my super laggy 256 megabyte RAM computer. It was so laggy that I used to press ”follow” on other players in order to transport myself 😂 Good times, good times! Great video mate ❤️
Great video. Not AI. And hitting points of interest and "feels" that those videos don't. You earned my subscription and can't wait to see more in my feed!
I really enjoyed the video, I especially liked the quest highlights! I’m new to classic and this is very reflective of my experiences. Keep it up I look forward to seeing more 👍
i love finding classic WoW content like this, cant wait to see more, also im not sure if it was just me, but your voice was a tiny tiny bit overshadowed by how loud the music could get in the video may be a fix for later, overall loved the video
Real friggen well done my dude, this was a sick video and you deffo really put a lot of work into this! If you plan to do more, I would love to see a retro spective for STV, darkshore, Un goro
I always loved questing through Kalimdor sort of combing over the old elven empire. Ever since Warcraft 3 I loved the lore and vibe of the night elves and I’m so glad ashenvale is getting a big focus in season of discovery, can’t wait to dunk on some horde
I've been on such a lore kick and this came out at the perfect time. I'm excited to see what zones come next. I'd love to see one on Un'goro or Tanaris. I have such fond memories of that point in the game
Bro this is sick! Thank you for this. I have many pleasant memories. You forgot the random ass floating fish 😂🤭 I had that bug outside of ashanaar at everytime!
Love it! Hoping for more! I actually like ''The Hunt'' in Ashenvale where you are set out to kill a hyppogrif, a bear and a panther to get their throphy back. This makes you look out for these mobs while you Quest around in the zone. Best part about is that it gives alot of xp 😂👌
The others are just news ones 😅 but sub, I'm gonna do a series like this because people seem to enjoy it, and I for sure enjoy making them more than I do the news content!
Ah, Ashenvale, the lush and contested zone in WoW Classic, nestled in Kalimdor's north. From the night elf hub of Astranaar to the relentless faction clashes, it's a pivotal leveling ground for both Alliance and Horde adventurers. The dense forests and diverse quests make every journey through this iconic zone a memorable Classic WoW experience.
@@lurker_yt the job itself is great, tons of alone time outside to listen to music, podcasts, etc. But it’s a crazy amount of hours cause we’re understaffed. Will definitely be listening to your future vids, bro! Keep it up
I particularly liked this video because I did not get to fully explore Ashenvale and know it's secrets and details. Compared to your STV video, where I know STV in and out. I'd like to see more videos on cool zones that are obscure or hard to fully digest while playing the game.
I remember as an Alliance rogue sneaking past the Orc guards at the Mor'shan Rampart from Ashenvale into the Barrens. This was way back in Vanilla, before there were online guides and before I had joined a guild, so I literally had no idea what I would find in the Barrens. I snuck through the village beyond the Rampart and spied on the Orc NPC's there. I actually got the sense that these were not enemies, just people going about their lives. It was a surprisingly poignant moment from just a video game.
One of my favorite memories was here. It was toward the end of Vanilla, I was a noob, no Idea what I was doing, had spent almost a month just in Ashenvale leveling and getting ganked.... and needed GM help for something. Dragon mounts didn't exist... and he appeared before me RIDING A DRAGON was just sitting on it with it wings flapping at the edge of Felwood. I was in awe! Dam I really miss the occasional interactions with GMs.
My fonest memories of Wow are from pvp in ashenvale and the barrens. We constantly had astranar and crossroads being raided back and forth. Hunting each other through the beautiful forests in ashenvale. Easily the best time i had with WoW.
As an undead mage tailor I always found it fun going to the moonwell in Ashenvale to do the Mooncloth transmute, sneaky undead using the Elves wells for crafting, hehehe.
Well made. I have a faint memory of someone taking me to ratchet because I never went to kalimdor till like level 28 since I thought it was all horde territory
Make more. I would be interested in a whole series of Zone Retrospectives
PvP in ashenvale is always peak world PvP to me because it feels so organic because of the lore of a contested territory.
The Night Elf music and the ambience of their forest areas were absolutely mesmerizing to me as a young kid playing WoW. Just pure bliss... the music and ambient noise brings me to another place where I almost feel like I'm really there. Comments like this 🥺 thank you!
My favorite quest in ashenvale is one from horde side. You have to take a banner, plant it on a hill, and fend off waves of furblogs. A literal King of the Hill battle
Agreed that one is pretty great.
Will be interesting to do on SoD..
Barrens and stranglethorn vale are my two favorites. STV always gets me in the feels
I literally subbed after 1 sec because of the title and the intro to the intro music. I know this is my jam. More please!
This style is amazing! I'm looking forward for other videos. It feels like a modern city symphony.
Thanks for this run down memory Lane.
These details are so important to us all to know what we remember.
;)
I think a few have mentioned it already but this, exactly this. Do it for ALL of the zones plz. Great video, will return for more
This^^^
The very first time I left Darnassas, the docks were under attack. The first time ever actually encountered Horde. 🔥 That’s it, I’m a factionist! 🦁
Great video my friend! As a mainly dwarf player, Ashenvale always was 'adventure and discovery' for me. I always liked it!
This is such a good video! I have been making a video on the Lore of Ashenvale this week because of the impending Season of Discovery! Zone Retrospective series is a must! Keep it up
Thanks! I knew you'd do the lore justice better than I could so kept it brief 😉 looking forward to yours

That's a great observation, totally agree!
I fell in love with night Elfs music. So good. Takes me back 18 years!
I love this zone retrospective concept. Please make more!
Yea ashenvale was so damn omnious and spooky for my young orc shaman, i love this Zone!
Yea the music... every time I go there the eerie music brings back memories and I turn it up. I had never played a video game with other people, had no idea what I was doing, and spent more time leveling in this zone than any other getting ganked here.
"meaning if you autorun east as Horde, you're in for a not-so-balanced encountered with Astranaar guards." lol true

Welcome aboard!
So glad the algorithm recommended me this. Such a well made video. Please keep making these.
Beautiful ashenvale was always the peak of nightelf feeling for me. with the music and shadowy, serene, armosphere
By far my favourite place in all the world of warcraft, huge nostalgia. Great video
My favorite part of ashenvale that you didn’t mention is the howling vale. All the lvl 28-30 werewolves and the ONE rare mob that drops nice leather armor is perfect for this area.
Please continue this series

Awesome Format. I would absolutely love to see more of those videos with the other zones!
Sick video man I’m glad I stumbled upon this. As someone who played wow growing up these in depth looks at zones is very nostalgic to me.
I like your format of revisiting the zones. I had a similar fascination with Ashenvale and you captured the magic perfectly :)
I love your storytelling, anxiously awaiting more videos. Greatness to come
Would love to see more of this stuff! Great video!
Looking forward to seeing more from you, very well done. One of my favorite zones by far.

Great job, love the introspective style of the different zones
Great idea for a video series. As someone who played alliance it’s cool to hear the horde side.
Great video - please make this a series!
Ditto
More of this type of content, please. Was awesome!
I always loved questing through Kalimdor sort of combing over the old elven empire. Ever since Warcraft 3 I loved the lore and vibe of the night elves and I’m so glad ashenvale is getting a big focus in season of discovery, can’t wait to dunk on some horde

Very well done video dude!

This was a good watch. Subscribing in hopes of more. Well done.
I support more of these. The format is great 👍 Lore history, significance to you, walkthrough of the zone, and significance in SoD

I crave these videos, to hit my wow nostalgia. as a man in my 30s now, i played this in high school.
Awesome video, definitely earned my sub. I’m a mailman and this was awesome to listen to while I delivered mail in the forest
That seems like a chill gig. Lemme get you some more mail route listens 🫡

I remember that the swiftthistle farming in the south Ashenwale usually became a full scale war between factions.
Great content. Keep it up!
As an undead mage tailor I always found it fun going to the moonwell in Ashenvale to do the Mooncloth transmute, sneaky undead using the Elves wells for crafting, hehehe.
I mained UD mage often so know that vibe all too well
Nothing better than those road skirmishes right outside of Splintertree Post
This was good keep ‘‘em coming
Well done hope to see more!
Fantastic video bro.
