My advice to most players: Don't use anything that encourages you to rush the leveling experience. There is zero reason to rush to 60 this time. Don't do it.
It all depends on what kind of player your are. As a min max who would like to be servers first 60 or clearing a raid, these things will help. But mainly I’ll just focus on having fun and enjoy the journey

I have rested xp addon and highly recomend if ur wanting to speed demon to the end. Yes it costs for the full addon but with how many characters and how many times iv played in classic/SoD it was worth it
Great addons, but there is something to be said about no addon adventuring. Addon's are great for spending your time in wow more efficiently, but efficiency does not equal game immersion. I like modern wow, but I also like the classic wow where you had to actually read the quest and figure out the locations. Sure, takes much longer but, makes you feel way more part of the world.
I wish I could use bag addons but I'm so particular but I'm so particular about my bags that every time i am near a vendor I am already selling and moving stuff in my bags. Bag addons are nice but I like certain items to be in certain positions at all times. I'm weird but its easier for me to do it like that than use a bag addon to organize things and then have to look for or search for specific items.
You should make a video going in depth about how the changes will affect certain classes, if you have a good idea. Just duel spec and debuff limit are the only changes right? Still, maybe worth it.

The real question I have is, how on Earth are you playing with all these addons, without getting a million lua errors ? I have abyssUI, weaponswingtimer, Questie and I’m constantly getting errors, they’re all updated via curseforge
@ turns out you need to get the weaponswingtimer sixxfix, other than that still can’t get the 3d portrait off abyssUI even after reinstalling, just found sUI which is actually better

I'd more rather stop seeing people complain about it. It has a hardcore mode that can help you avoid many dangerous areas, quests or mobs and still help you be efficient. Technically none of these add-ons are needed, it's clear people have a bias against this add-on for no other reason than that it's paid. You can use it for free until 20.

Don't let them convince you being incredibly inefficient will be a more enjoyable experience.

Time is the most valuable resource. People want to waste as little of their time as possible, and thus efficiency becomes the main concern... YOU have to choose to play it how you like to play. So change yourself, you can't change the world. If you don't want to min-max, then don't. The fact is, you don't want to put in the work to be as efficient or effective as everyone else, or don't have the TIME to do that, and so you fear that you will be left behind trying to enjoy the game in your preferred way. Which is true, but you have to accept that instead of being upset that others want to be more efficient.

Blizzard made dungeons easier, heirlooms and buffs for more xp and tabards that give rep for dungeons. Then who would be stupid enough to quest? If blizzard wanted people to be in the world. They would make elites actually hard so it ain't a face roll xp/ loot piniata. If dungeons are slower and quest xp was buffed more people would do it that simple. I ain't spending months to level just to get to my favorite part of the game. Don't hate the player, hate the game.
@@K.S-w5s Nothing to do with time. Its dopamine addiction. The meaning of Fun changes from enjoyment to dopamine as you go through things (gaming or otherwise). This brings about a combination of other symptoms like fomo etc.

You do not have to use any mods in classic Wow at least until you start raiding even then you only need something like deadlyboss mods are threat meter and a damage meter you only need 2 to 3 mods max to play Wow.

I always used to play with questing addons, but I found it fun and immersive to memorize the quests my last few playthroughs of classic.
a very nice touch on Details is u can enable the plugin to show Threat meter so u can watch ur threat on monsters

What Changes? You start with Phase 1, a lot of Loot and Professions will not be around. The Class in it self is not Changed.

I use the tool curseforge. It automatically drops the addon into the addon folder and you can update everything with 1 click
