- Imagine an alternate universe where Jesse Pinkman attempted to escape the DEA bust too early. Agents Gomez and Schrader catch and arrest Jesse Pinkman trying to escape during a ride along with Walter White (brother-in-law).
Walter White never cooks with Jesse and never becomes Heisenberg ... is it the better alternate Breaking Bad ending?

The funny thing is, I remember watching a TH-cam video of a D.E.A agent watching and reviewing some episodes of Breaking Bad. He pointed out that when D.E.A agents make a bust like this, some are instructed to stay outside and guard the perimeter of the house for this EXACT reason. So yes, this IS realistically how it should have ended.
Jesse is coming out the neighbor's house though, not the one they were cooking out of. They definitely had Emilio's place surrounded. Even if they had caught Jesse coming out, what are they going to do? Arrest him for banging a MILF? If Emilio doesn't snitch (which he didn't when he was taken into custody in the show), all Jesse has to say is "I don't know what's going on but all the cops freaked me out, I heard gunshots and wanted to get out of here." At worst they detain him on scene for questioning, but being next door to a drug bust is not probable cause for you to get arrested.
Never bet against someone screwing something up or the vain hope that everything will go according to plan. In military and law enforcement actions like this "rear" or "external" security depends on the number of committed agents. If not enough were available or there in time it is often possible the screening "security" can be breached and a suspect(s) can flank the enforcement units or escape.
In a low-med priority operation like the raid in the show it wouldn't be surprising to see low numbers or indolent operators.

@@darksideofevil13 Jesse isn't known for his bulletproof knowledge of the law. As long as he doesn't incriminate himself under questioning, and talks to a lawyer, they've got nothing.
At that point, though, he'd know that Walter couldn't blackmail him. Additionally, Walter would know better than to try to get involved with someone that is now known to the DEA. So, it still stops Breaking Bad even if Jesse isn't charged with anything.
I like how this is an infinitely better outcome for even Jesse Pinkman than what he got.
Guy would've gotten killed in prison or out by Crazy 8 (especially if he ratted Emilio).
@fuckyoutube4398 They weren't going to kill Jesse if he was in prison, as that would dissuade the idea that he ratted. They only threatened to kill Jesse because they recognized Walt as being with Hank.

In a story the inciting incident is the most fair place to have coincidences as that's the point. As long as they make sense and or aren't to frequent.
In spiderman one Peter has to be bitten by a spider through the most unsafe scienyists not keeping an eye on it and tbe spider not targeting flash harry or anybody that isnt peter
Edit: i changed it to spidermans origin in the comics and shows which originally it i used tasm as an example when it doesnt work. But because it was unclear it was changed.

This is like an inverse of that lol. Jesse did something ''too early'' than when he's supposed to, and ended the story before it even begins xD.

@@wotmate3719 Both Far Cry 4 & 5. In the long opening cutscenes of both games, there will be a moment where you’re prompted to do an action that will set the rest of the games in motion. However, should you sit idle and do nothing until after some time has passed, there’ll be a special cutscene that triggers an alternate ending that completely resolves the plot of the games in minutes.
Dunno if Far Cry 6 has something similar as well, though. I haven’t played it yet.

this is the ending where hank arrests pinkman early and instead of partnering with jesse, walter white partners with hank using his company schraderbrau alongside walters chemistry skills to make the highest quality brew which would allow walter to grow his brewery empire in the usa and into europe, satisfying walters ego while also allowing him to pay for his cancer treatment, walter ends up becoming a billionare in this universe, outgrowing his old company with elliot and gretchen

@@FrankieWilliams-kx9gp Gretchen and Elliot would've paid for the treatment. As for the second round, who knows. But Walter didn't receive treatment because he was in hiding so he couldn't undergo chemo, but there's a timeline where Walter might've beaten the cancer again, or not even gotten it the second time in the first place. I can't imagine the immense amount of physical and emotional stress he endured while in remission could've helped.
@@asianotakuguy He did receive treatment while in hiding and he was still very visibly dying (pale, lost large amounts of weight, etc).
As to whether it was as effective as in-hospital treatment probably not however I think at least the way breaking bad was written, Walter was going to die either way.

Imagine that case, maybe Walter would have given up his pride into recieving the money from Gretchen for his treatment and got a decent job at that company. Walter's life would have been happy if not a little boring but not a total mess.

Walt would despise himself for being under Elliot and Gretchen when he should own half of the company, and hate his life in general for being a nobody and missing something "special".

@@epicfan1598 Doesn't matter. Lung cancer in general is almost a certain death sentence when caught at stage 3 or 4. It's not one of the ones people tend to "beat" or walk away from, no matter how much money. Chemotherapy and radiation are still just chemotherapy and radiation at the end of the day. It doesn't magically become more efficacious just because you pump more money into it. Maybe you can pay extra for expedience but not really much else could be done for lung cancer in particular.
Mannn, BB is such a tragic story. We literally watched the slow destruction of a family and could do nothing about it. All the characters seem so different in the first season. It’s crazy to see all the chaos unravel and permanently change the characters in a story which only spans about 2 years. 😢
It also changes when you watch it a few times the first time you root for walt and hate his wife. The second time you start to understand skyler and want walt to get arrested

To be fair, Jesse isn't the reason Walt started cooking meth. He already had those intentions once he realized how much money it makes. That's the only reason he takes the ride along. Jesse was just a familiar face for Walt to latch onto. Had Jesse not been there, it's likely Walt would've tried doing the drug business on his own, and likely gotten caught or killed pretty quickly since he doesn't know "the game", and that would've been where it really ends in this hypothetical scenario. Granted, Jesse wasn't very street smart either. It's entirely possible Walter would've been more inclined to seek out Saul Goodman, especially if any suspicion fell on him, and Saul would help Walter expand his empire.

After getting to know all these characters multiple times....I wish that's how it went down.
Walt accepted cancer money from his old friends and remained pathethic for the rest of his life
Jesse then turned his life around, he and walt eventually reconnect at the DEA. the alternate show now revolves around the DEA's battle againt the new blue meth appearing in the area (cooked by Gale Boetticher). Jesse goes deep undercover as Gales assistant, allowing them to eventually be arrested and tried for their crimes. Walt's bonus for bringing Gale and Gus to justice, along with his DEA provided helath insurance, mean that he is able to fight off his lung cancer. The show ends with Jesse having a family with his (now clean) Girlfriend Jane, and walt living a happy and fulfilling life as a DEA agent and a family man.

here is what I think would happen. Walt this early on would struggle to find a place to cook and find a place to sell and walts confidence by this point isn't enough to go out there and sell as he doesn't know who to. Keep in mind he needed sauls help for the pests thing and even if he got as far as to get a lab I doubt he would be able to find a seller. And would fear the risk of selling to a under cover. Walt is willing to stand up for himself but he does that for more emotionally driven reasons so I would imagine eventually walter would either get caught or would eventually settle with grechen and Elliot as a big factor to walt rejecting their offer is his pride and the fact he could prove to himself he doesn't need them so it would take a while but eventually he would take the offer. Some may think he would not but I think he would and here is why. Walts ego comes from his only memory of his dad being a frail dying man and he wants to be seen as the big man nky frail and weak and the reality that he has no alternatives would damage his pride and how his family sees him as they sink into a hole with no rv money.
For Jesse I would imagine saul wouldn't get him off but jesse would spend a few years in the system I don't know if jesse has previous charges but I would imagine jesse with the help of saul would craft a deal and serve his time. But I would say probably not a few months as jesse has no information to trade but he would eventually get out. Now vince explained walts a good guy who was meant to be a bad guy jesse is a bad guy who is meant to be a good guy and i imagine jesse would be scared out of the buisness and I figure eventually he go into rehab I don't know if he would meet Andrea but It doesn't matter if he did but jesse probably not by easy means would start a modest and boring life. Krazy 8 wouldn't be an issue as when we first see him and jesse it'd clear he is indifferent to if he buys or sells. And since they both get caught i see it as jesse moving on or just repeating his emillio escapades which would end up with krazy 8 getting sniffed out by tuco and jesse would eventually just not end up leaving the buisness when it won't work out.
Now for gus I think everything besides gale dying would remain the same for the most part but with a few key differences being how tuco disappears and the twins as gus would absalutely need them gone by the time he brings gale to Mexico and the plan would mostly remain the same but with I juaqine stopping mike at the end since there was no pinkman to save them it wouldn't work out but let's add either tyrus if Victor into the equation creating chaos as the fall of the salamanca empire and without Victor or tyrus there would be chaos and the salamancas empire would fall but in a different way with gus' empire failing as well. In short gus would either win or go down almost winning.
Now finally jimmy would just keep being saul but would lose mike as a PI and jimmy would continue to lose hair and still live a sad life with nobody to live for and having no one and not even beibg able to kind of talk to mike and jimmy would only live his life as saul and wouldn't be able to bring himself to live as jimmy and he would go bald and wear a wig and that would be that.
Walt gets the neutral ending
Jesse would get I guess neutral ending.
Gus and mike get the revenge ending
Finally saul would get the bad ending
Hank would get the good ending
