These candies are sweet and have that distinctinve maple flavor. You only need ONE ingredient to make these! Have you ever tried making candies before?
I just made an entire gallon of mapple syrup, so I was looking for some ideas of what to use some for. I am definitely making some candy, probably next week when I collect enough sap
This is my first time ever making any sort of cooked candy, and I am super proud of them…maple candy is my absolute favorite and is so expensive to buy…now I can make it on my own! I had a couple of small mishaps but ultimately turned out great for a first go! Thank you for the great video!
Can the syrup be reused? I made the mistake of not a big enough pan and when it boiled of course it may have gone over so I had to lift the pan off the burner. Is my candy now ruined? I guess I"ll have to just use it on pancakes if so................. thanks for any thoughts.............
These candies are tricky! We tried reusing the syrup one time we messed it up, but the result wasn't quite there. Yes maybe repurposing it is the best solution!

These are delightful. I love the maple leaf shape, it makes them so tempting...😊👍
Thank you!

Can you use a milk frother to do this?
Can you do this with birch syrup as well to make the same type of candies? Thanks for the video.
I think you absolutely need this type of syrup :o maybe you could achieve a similar result with a different recipe :)

Same thing happened to me and I quickly transferred to a bigger pot and kept cooking and they still turned out great!
Do you have a link for the molds please?
Are these the soft creamy maple candies? Or are they hard? Thanks
They melt in your mouth! They are the creamy ones :)
@@WhippedFood ooh perfect, thanks!
How does it need to be on that boiling point?
Its going to be thicker and have a deeper color!
