Talking about routine, first thing we do is attach a prirate flag on the balcony. So if you ever spot a pirate flag on a cruise ship...it must be us. Silly ppl from the Netherlands. Thanks again for the vid. Keeping me alive here in the dark weather.
I swear we’ve seen something like that over the last 20 years - we just can’t remember what ship. Maybe we saw you or a copy cat! We so look forward to visiting Amsterdam on a cruise this coming summer - hopefully the dark weather is over by then.

Loved Half Moon Cay when we were there...can hardly wait to get back! Funny you should mention pre-dinner routine! We don't have one at home, but love it on the ship!
It’s only our routine on Friday nights at home - but during a cruise it’s every night. Endless Fridays at sea. 🥳. Half Moon Cay is on noir minds each day and we can’t wait to return mid-March.
Hello Fellow Canadian. Just wonder if you have cruised on other lines and how you would compared HAL. We are Carnival cruisers but have been looking and considering HAL.
We have lots of experience with exactly that. We did almost 20 carnival cruises before trying any other cruise line. We’ve also done NCL, RCL and Princess. It all depends on how you cruise. If you find yourself hiding away from the main pool in Carnival to the serenity and enjoy evenings listening to music and enjoying great food - then HAL is a good fit. But, if you love to party all day, do water slides, ride roller coasters and have a party nightlife with adult comedy, dance clubs and deck party’s then HAL isn’t a good fit. People may argue with us - but we really think the food quality is the same. We always loved Carnivals food and menu and HAL is just as good. HAL has a more affordable drink packages. We go on Carnival if we want a party and let loose for a week. We go on HAL when we want a quieter trip to just relax. Hope that helps you decide. It’s likely worth giving HAL a try to check it out.
Gave my family serious FOMO. Been waiting 2 years to get back on a HAL ship but my cruises keep being cancelled. The next try is in a few months on the new Rotterdam ship. Was the lobster shack open? That's usually where we eat.
Jill says for sure the lobster shack was open, we had staff on the ship trying to sell it to us the day before. We are on the Rotterdam in March and will be back at HMC again - we will double check and follow up on that vlog.

Some say that Dive In Burgers are just as good as Guys. It’s an ongoing debate and it’s close. At least there’s still a good free burger option.
