I love that the little ring in the HUD spins faster the faster you go. I don’t know I just think it’s a neat little touch.

Amazing how you managed to make the whole thing with all the level notes and stuff in such a short period of time. Also it's funny that some of those totally different routes are faster than the previous ones only by mere frames. I love this game for that.
+truesonic53 Well, to a TASer even 20 or 10 frames is a lot! The one route which had the last time savings was the detour in TB1 which only saved 4 frames.

Doing all those air dashes to gain speed is possible without TAS, but you'll probably be slower in doing it because you'll do them at the wrong time and end up stopping on a hill or something.
But it is possible without TAS...
The way velocity works in this game is that if you jump on the exact frame you land, you retain the previous velocity instead of slowing down to maximum ground velocity.
So with frame precise movement, chaining airdashes at the correct intervals every single time allows you to build up huge speed.
(To put it in perspective, maximum running velocity in boost mode is 3840, which is about the speed I'm running at from 0:55 to 0:57 of the video... but chaining airdashes can give ridiculous speed values in the 6000/7000s, just an interesting piece of trivia :P)

I'm afraid not. the camhack script for this game gives a really shaky screen and is near unwatchable when played back.
