That checkpoint Chaos Control is freaking awesome! It even kinda makes sense: the checkpoints let you teleport, as does Chaos Control, so putting them together could feasibly amplify the teleportation powers.
I don't see why this game is so hated. It has really cool soundtrack and levels are really enjoyable. It's just one of those games, that require actual skill.
+TheCodedtestament The game is hated for repetition, you need to complete 8 stories to unlock the last story whereas that links to only one of the 8. And the controls are worse that Sonic Heroes. I like Shadow the Hedgehog but I can't deny the flaws with the game.
+TheCodedtestament The game is hated for story and the fact the true end forces you to play the game an extra 10 damn times. For a game that has awkward controls, homing attack that flips you the bird and other issues. This game has 99 problems with the Sega developers being more than one
ShTH's soundtrack is definitely cool, but most of the songs are easily forgettable unless you're a major fan of the game itself. The controls can be quite janky but if you can play like this guy then they're not that much of an issue. The whole idea of having to repeat the first level 10 times to get the final ending also bugs some users, but it didn't really bother me. One of the biggest reasons for this games dislike was it's attempt at edginess though, how Shadow says "damn" and stuff to try and make this game for an older audience. A lot of people found it to be cringey. I had fun playing almost every level when I played ShTH a little while back, and the only mission that really bugged me was the flashback one where you had to kill the blue Chaos creatures.
Darian P There could possibly be one, but I don't think it would serve much function. You only need one Chaos Blast to take out an area, so, there's no point in having multiple ones--though, it would be impressive to watch.
Yea I see it as something to add to the spectacle. I like to think if you can combine the speed of the chaos control with the power and force of the chaos blast maybe he can teleport to different stages or something
Fun fact: If you collect an invincibility power-up, you have unlimited ammo until it runs out. But because said power-up is so rare in this game, you probably never got to use one.
I love how the GUN troops sound so confused. "No-one escapes - hey - get back here -" Shadow: "Flying around at the speed of time, got one place to go, GOTTA FOLLOW MY RAAINBOOW- er, I mean, er, I AM I AM ALL OF ME!"
This game is soooo legendary. I don't even mess with that type of music, but it fits shadow's games so well! As for why some people have so much hate for this game? It breaks away from old heads' view of a sonic game. I love this game because it's a fun game to play, and it builds on Shadow's character. It's so amazing.
@@eldritch-rage Some times the camera angles get phucced up, but that's a small price to pay for an amazing game with amazing visual level designs. Better than the boring asssss story lines a lot of the new sonic games have.
@@it_is_thatboy they look good, yes, but there not fun to play due to the tedious mission design and the surprise attack bullcrappery. And while I do adore game stories, that does not justify playing this game *ten times*
@@eldritch-rage I enjoyed the level designs. They weren't perfect, but neither is life. I looked at it as - adding difficulty to the game. I also like to speed run, and Sonic games revolve around speed, so all of that is irrelevant if you manage to find ways to skip it. Given sonic and Shadow would kill off their oppenents pretty quickly, or just skip past a majority of them, I don't see it as unrealistic to skip as much as you can. I don't think it was bad to the point that it was worth crying about.
Robert Anderson Fair. It’s just my best guess. A lot of games do that with certain stuff. Like the error messages in source games when models don’t load.
Its the repetition people don't like having to beat it over and over again for the true ending I Like the game but I mainly don't like that space colony ark stage with Maria
2:06 Made me break a Wavebird in 2007. Kept falling victim to camera bullshittery, slammed it on the carpet, and it bounced about six feet up into the adjacent wall. It left a hole and both sticks and the A button were left unusable. Good thing they had a used one at GameStop, where I traded in Shadow The Hedgehog.
it's an exploit that can be done checkpoints/(warp points?) ,basically if you activate chaos control while popping that menu you can go as far as chaos control will allow at one time without using meter.
Chaos Control will also take Shadow the rest of the way through loops and dangerous spots if he runs out of meter while in an awkward place, which is why it lasts extra long during those times when isn't using the glitch, like in Sky Troops and Final Haunt.
hmmm. I kind of want a sonic game with the Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog control scheme and gameplay style. I actually liked them, and although the levels themselves had too many bottomless pits, that can be fixed easily enough.
It gives you nothing, But I still think it's pretty cool anyway, at least when I did it. You mastered the game so the game give you one final victory lap.
this makes the game looks so much smoother and more fun, too bad most players will play this game slow and aggravtaed at the slippery, horrendously unresponsive controlles.
