Nobody is such an underrated character. I can totally see why he is scary to some, but to me, I find him unique. How he is worked (its shown at the end) is one of the most unique controls I have ever seen on a muppet character. Just wiring controlling the string eyes and mouth by black gloves worn by Henson and his sidekick, again, shown at the end. His splendor voice is calming to me, too
I saw this when I was a kid and it kind of freaked me out. I remembered the face as I was growing up and for years I thought maybe I had dreamed it up until I saw it pop up on my feed.
What was the original episode that limbo was in? I want to watch the whole thing but all I no is that it's in season 2. And I'm not gonna go watch every episode of the season just to find limbo
So, if you follow down the line of thought that compartmentalizing your mind, could potentially "split" a personality, and research a little about just how early Jim Henson started showing things to people, it would seem that Jim definitely had some ideas about "teaching" the developing minds of America, and later on the world. This is a good example for this theory. Kind of playing the devil's advocate here, I always loved a lot of what came out of the production, but as they say, the path to hell is paved with good intentions.
@@pigeonman1134 Yes. But only in speculative hypothetical theory, and not so much on a daily basis. Begs the question; what is really "evil". Paradoxes abound. But simple answer is no, not really.

Jim Henson & Raymond Scott made this film in 1966, then presented it on this TV show in 1974.
