  • This is NOT like most of the other internet videos showing you HOW to replace the trigger valve. This video is to show you the individual parts of the TVA1 trigger valve in case you want to actually see the failed part (not sure if it's technically called an o-ring, seal or gasket). If you are able to fixed the failed part you see in the video be sure to share the replacement part dimensions in the comments section.

Well said, the mystery yellow translucent o-ring, mine was broken in much smaller pcs than yours, and I was trying to figure out where it went and the size, finally I just ordered a new replacement valve, but thanks for making this video.
Nice job explaining. Keep them coming.

Hi, yep no problem with giving thumbs up 👍. There are so many of these triggers failing because of that particular O ring disintegrating but guess what? You can’t buy a new one. For my gun Bostich doesn’t even supply the trigger valve kit any more. I watched a TH-cam video yesterday and the bloke doing it found that a 2.4mm thick x 9.8mm inside diameter O ring worked. This size O ring was in a kit he got from Harbor Freight. Unknown at this stage how long it will last. You are correct in where it fits. I don’t know if the bad O ring is made of silicone because of the air pressure hitting against it or because of the odd shape is has when looking at its profile. Sorry I can’t give credit to the other channel because I can’t remember his name. I will come back and add it if I can find it again as it is quite a good tutorial.
    Cheers Stuart 🇦🇺

I was able to use an o-ring out of a $3 assorted o-ring kit from Advanced Auto parts.

Peter Rowell I just picked through them to find the one that fit. I don't even remember if there were sizes on the package. Sorry I didn't pay closer attention
