Bostitch also makes a coil nail version of this model. Snap ring pliers are used to disassemble the coil nail feed piston only.

I have the exact same model number nailer. When I took mine apart there was an aluminum ring on TOP of the plastic cylinder sleeve (between the sleeve and the rubber bumper) and your's didn't have that. Well, I damaged mine when I put the gun back together, gun misfired and the ring got bent and distorted. Stanley Bostitch has discontinued the part and I wonder if I can get by without it. I think their costumer service is 'lacking'' as the couldn't answer my question about it. I'm afraid to shoot the gun without it.

Sorry man I can't give you any advice about that, I won't pretend to know I've only done this once and you've seen the video on it. Only thing I can say is if it's already screwed up, just give it a shot not like you'll break it more. Try eBay for parts or Amazon
