Way to go Walter! Your air nailer is ready to go to work! I think air pressure is kind of particular on those air nailers so you don't drive the nail too deep. You and Mary take care!

Great job!!! Doing mine today. I’m a little disappointed that the original didn’t last that long. As for driving 2 nails I hope you didn’t get the roofing nailer valve they are quicker and look the same as the framer valve.

Glad you showed how the trigger leaks there as the video starts. I just bought this gun that must be 10 years old looks brand new but the trigger rotted out. Same thing happened on a Hitachi roofing nailer from Florida the climate turned the rubber to gum and U couldn’t work the gun without the trigger. Funny you mention the big screen TV picture not coming on. I believe my brand new 70 inch TV also has a power cord that plugs in. The picture goes black and the sound still continues. I’ve had it from Black Friday after Thanksgiving until Christmas when the picture went black. The solution was to change channels hit the last button twice to get back to the football game I’m watching to make the picture come on. Well I had a plasma TV where the picture went black and it never came back. That’s the black death it’s the plague. Not sure what plays his TV. But it’s bad like the gun that has to be fixed before I can use it. The gun probably is not too big a deal. These outfits that sell nails would fix the guns for free in the 1990s when we were building houses in Florida. I don’t think that’s the case today. Home Depot sells guns and the nails I don’t know how these outfits stay in business. Home Depot provides no service on the nailgun’s. It’s like you buy your tires from discount tire well yeah you may get a good price but you don’t get any coupons for auto service onto AC or your brakes. So I like to stick with fire stone in Goodyear. I also like that you showed you got the part from Amazon and it didn’t come with the drift to knock the pins out of the trigger housing. So now I know what to expect from Amazon. By the time I get around to installing something I bought on Amazon it’s past the return.. So I tend to stick with advance auto parts and O’Reilly. Well neither one of them has a one-year return anymore. Although each store is very individual about their return policy. I won’t buy anything from Amazon if I can help it. Or any kind of auto repair I wind up with three parts that are not returnable before the job gets done. Well I sure miss those guys in Florida that sell nails and service the nailgun’s because they could replace the trigger in five minutes and test fire the gun to make sure it worked before you left the building.

Weather if you hold the trigger too long it’ll pull out two nails if you reduce the air pressure with a 3 1/2 inch nail you’ll have to drive it in with the hammer won’t send it home leave your pressure at 90 and you need to practice with the gun you only bump it once what you do is you have a trigger and push down on it like your drop forging something and then pick the gun up down look like a bar pogo sticks I understand like you know allergy down up down up down up if you hold it down you’re the trickle down it’ll shoot your nails your practice like riding a bike second message I need an hour to mention just kidding you be safe with that gun go by Sam Baker

Now you can be the Equalizer, figure a way to lock that safety on temporarily and target practice on some old plywood, when you know where it shoots, you'll be ready in case you run out of ammo if the rioters come your way,LOL.

Black trigger is auto, gray trigger is single shot. That’s why you’re double nailing.
