Great video, could someone explain a bit more about the freezing before shooting with the low single? Doesn't it give too much time for your opponent to react?
George the freeze is part of the drill. However we do “freeze fake” all the time. That refers to taking a hard fake, freezing and then continuing on with the attack. We are waiting for the reaction as opposed to pulling out of the body position.
should your eyebrow be at the knee area? i know the purler wrestling teaches the eyebrow to the knee. could shooting your head past the knee and deeper been an issue?
Eyebrow is a good focal point. I like to say Temple to the knee or head to the knee. As long as you understand the position, thats what matters. And no we don’t wanna shoot to deep but that’s going to happen.
