    A gig every night, the fatigue had to be over whelming. This sort of job has its pressures, that adds to it's wearing factor. Paul's artistic mastery was so beyond ordinary ,he could turn out sounds that transports the listener away from their goings on of their daily life. I feel loved. He put his blood, sweat and tears into it. Thank you so very much Paul.

    • @AJ17_
      @AJ17_ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@Cristinact That was part of the reason why he left. Paul said on Bands Reunited that he was so exhausted that he was physically sick. Plus he felt he was too young for the rock & roll lifestyle, which was just too fast for him and he couldn't keep up anymore (he was drinking heavily while in tour to try to cope with the stress and supposedly drugs were in the mix as well). Poor guy ended up having a nervous breakdown after he left the band due to the stress and whatnot, and said for awhile he could barely function as a normal person.

The brief reunion they did in 2004 fell apart pretty quickly when old tensions resurfaced & Mike ditched them and went back to his touring band (though still promoting the shows as "the original lineup"). Also, Paul suffered a stroke in early 2020, but I've heard he's been on the mend and doing better (I hope that's true).
