We had the most wonderful holiday in Istanbul last year. The people are so friendly, the public squares were so clean. It was busy, bustling and vibrant. So much to see and do.
I am very glad that you had a nice experience, I am from Antalya and I also recommend you to visit Antalya if you have the opportunity.
Yes Dawn, I went in 2007 and 2009. It was really overwhelmingly beautiful. Greetings from NYC.
Thank you very much and greetings from Turkey♡

Ahh just imagination

Greetings from Turkey and you are always welcom here♤
Yes, clearly explained, excellent job Bery. During our visit to Istanbul, we followed your recommendations and I definitely praise you. We enjoyed Istanbul to the fullest without any problems! I learned a few basic Turkish phrases and words and it was always great to watch their reaction, very kind, for me too. We're already looking forward to another visit to Turkiye. Good luck and keep going ...

If you want a good and cheap meal then you should find a "lokanta" or "esnaf lokantası"
ıf you see a word "lokanta" on the window immedietly go in there and have a delicious foods for very low prices. :)
BTW usually these lokantas serves "traditional pot dishes" whic is quite interesting for an tourist. Trust me, i'm Turkish. :)
Thank you so much for the wonderful advices really appreciate!

Istanbul was our 1st destination in Feb 22 after 2 yrs of lockdown… they do the best lamb chops and Kebap and the beef kofte so addictive.. one of my favourite places for food along with Tokyo, Barcelona & Tuscany
The Turks really know how to eat. I need a yearly fix of their food.
Great job Bery.
Thank you !!!
Very insightful… thanks so much
Definitivamente eres la mejor. Deberías crear una agencia de turismo. De verdad que triunfas...

It seems to be a beautiful country. Just the fact that you are compassionated towards animals says everything. I’d love to visit.
Awesome video, thank you.
great information thanks!
There are many many useful tips. It is important that we remember/be consciously aware that we are guests in the countries we visit. Most of the tips are natural to me, but it really gave me a smile when I got to the escalator tip as it is one I really have to be mindful of when I travel . I know I should stand to the right and try hard to to do it, but I get caught on on occasion. I am left handed, so I automatically reach out with my left hand when stepping on and I'm Australian and we stand to the left.
Why everyone saying his good memory just for visiting I must to say the real truth
Greetings from Finland. My daughter lived in Istanbul for 6 years, so we visited there often. I love Istanbul. I recommend visiting there is a lot to see, good shopping opportunities and best of all the food is really good.
Very good info. It serves as a guide making a visitor's stay more convenient and thus comfortable.
Thank you so much for watching! 🙏🎉

Amazing😊
I am living in Istanbul.
Istanbul is a beautiful and amazing city, full of love, delicious food, beautiful nature, many places to see, and a very beautiful culture
Oh really I wish I could meet Burak Deniz he is amazing
As a Turk i wish i could agree with you
Thank you very much and greetings from Turkey♡
You are always welcome here
If there was one tip that did NOT surprise me, it was "Do not mistreat animals" - I am very impressed about the attitude of Turkiye people towards the stray cats of the cities
Very, very good advice. Especially get Istanbulkard first moment you can, never change money in an airport, and give small less touristy restaurants a chance. For example I lived near Haseki tram station in Fatih and everything was three times cheaper and just as good as in Sultanahnet. Even if a shop or restaurant is small, located on a weird tiny street and looks bad, it will still have amazing food and kind, lovely people in it. I never got food poisoning in Turkiye
Very helpful thank you ...
Scammers are damaging the reputation of Turkiye. Why don't the authorities take the scammers out of the streets?
Lack of policing probably
Hi Bery once again thank u so much for a fantastic video we wil b travelling to Turkiya next wk feel more confidence due to ur informative videos hope & pray that we bump in to u 😊

I've recently moved to Istanbul from the US. I'd love to catch up with you or if there is a social networking place for nice, down to earth people like you 🤗
Sophia,
I AM FROM ISTANBUL AND THIS VIDEO IS ACTUALLY HELPFUL
Very helpful your video.
Thank you for giving details on where to enjoy bicycling, hopefully those places have rental bikes. Will check it out on a future visit to Istanbul,
I visit recently it’s an amazing Istanbul city beautiful people of Turkish amazing they are a nations which we read in book big love big respect from ajk kashmir
As an American I think Americans speak too loudly at certain times. People get mad at me for speaking in a slightly lower voice, but sometimes it is just distracting in a public place when some people are having such loud conversations that you cannot even hear other people talk. So, I definitely think this is something Americans should keep in mind when going abroad since even stateside we could use lower voices at certain times.
Not serious ideas
Ohh rite so its not just in the movies then..😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you... I loved this... I'm planning on going there next year and I already started learning Turkish... I can't wait to say "merhaba, tesekkurler, gunaydin, lutfen... lol...

Thank you so much
Muchas gracias por tus videos, te escribo en español porqué también soy mexicano y pronto iré a Turquía, me ha orientado mucho tus recomendaciones y videos, gracias 🙏🏼
Its very helpful we r coming to turkey in September 😊
Thank you very much ♡
Hola Bery me encantan tus videos! Una preguntita recomiendas contratar algun guia para hacer o conoces algun guia para hacer tours in old Istanbul?
Glad to learn few things now
I came back from Turkey yesterday and your videos were so helpful. Now of course, there would be no point learning everything about a destination before visiting it, but the tips and general vlogs helped me get excited and be more informed. The only update I would give to new travellers is to skip the blue mosque, go after lunch to Hagia Sofia and be prepared for heat.
True! Blue mosque has been in maintenance since the beginning of 2018 and it seems that they won’t finish any time soon, instead, use that time for visiting other interesting places 🎉
@@BeryIstanbulTips I find that Süleymaniye or even better Sehzade mosque are great alternatives.
its Tűrkiye
From where you had travelled to Turkiye?

I’m currently in Oludeniz and will be visiting Istanbul next year. I cannot wait. You can tell a lot about a country by how they treat their animals. Turks have my respect as they are so kind to animals.
Thank you very much and greetings from Turkey♡
You are always welcome here
Not really. They don't even have respect for a human life. Best example is when you crossing a street, 9 out of 10 will accelerate and not stop and make you wait. They dont care. Luckily there are many people who take care of the animals. But unfortunately also many who abuse the animals. This city is becoming more and more like a Mumbai in terms of level.
