    Super surprised that that solid glass blank isn’t a complete noodle. That’s pretty awesome!

    Very nice trout rod. I like how the rod attaches at the handle. Don't need to worry about the sections twisting.

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely! I hate when the rod twists out for multi piece rods. This two piece is essential a single rod since the connection is at the rod handle and reel seat.

    Sup jimmy, nice, and you know I love crappie lol, got some nice ones, cold water they taste better🤣, brother had grill for pontoon boat custom for fishing, I bring the tools and make blackened, or lemon pepper, sometimes yellow American cheese and burger rolls for a crappie o filet😂, oh that sounds wrong lol, sry off topic🥵, that rod really looks like great action, is it heavy? Tyvm tc 🎣

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gotta enjoy life! Nothing better than exciting them taste buds!
      Rod isn't too heavy given its short and for UL. But Glass rods are generally a bit heavier. I think this is a fun Glass rod for the streams!

      @@rawrfishing trust me brother, enjoy every minute of life, eat some fish or a burger lol, in 1 min can ruin rest of life, I can see a rod like that for streams, usually a lot of branches, can't bring a long rod, and ul can feel more in my experience. 👍

    What type of connection knot do you use to connect the braided to mono? There so many. Which one do you recommend? I myself have lose to many lure on just thin braid.

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have a hybrid knot I made myself. Been testing it for a while. It's like a slim beauty, that took a portion the false gt knot with the figure 8 loop on the leader and then rizutto finish lol... Sounds complicated, but it's certainly faster than fg knot. You can simply tie the Alberto knot. Many people fail to tie knots due to not using long enough line to work with the knotting. Practice makes perfect!

    • @MrAntinsk8
      @MrAntinsk8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i recommend you the carrot fishing knot.

      @rawrfishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrAntinsk8 lol what knot is that?

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Lol I just looked that up. It's so similar to the knot I made. But mine is a bit better. I should do a tutorial!

      Nah, I got the majestic and didn't want to spend the money for a lower end rod. The reel test got it and used it a lot

    the fun thing is this rod is probably cheaper than international shipping

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Be surprised, shipping was factored into the price pretty much.

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Okay I lied. Rod was 45 dollars, shipping was under 11 dollars. Shipped from China to US. Under 55 dollars after coupons and Rakuten cash back

    • @ronaldz333
      @ronaldz333 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rawrfishing damn I thought shipping gonna be more than that. When I was in US it cost that much to ship within the same zip code🤣.

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think some stores does shipping different Than others. But this is truly a budget Glass rod that looks good and isnt too limp and noodly. Give it a try.
