      They sure are good for fishing in smaller strike zones! That lift and drop or float would get em late winter guys to bite

    Jimbo an other great segment…. Question how many yards of braid line do you spool your bfs reels….unfortunately that rod has been out of stock for awhile now 😢

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rods will be back soon at bfe! They arrived last week! I spool up about 125 ft ususally for my light tackle fishing. Too much would prevent my light lures from casting good. I have portrayed big fish on the kayak being handled with that easily. If u got monsters and fish from the banks, u may want more since you can chase the fish lol

    From your experience does the purple death color by zman work well in stained to dirty water? I really love it but I can’t seem to pinpoint the best water clarity for it

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have stained water during warm to somewhat clear in cooler weather. These are UV plastics, so anytime sun can hit it, it will pop. I did well for my clear winter water here :). Summer I did well on the paddle tail because of the vibes.

    Sup jimmy, awesome video, fishing, tips, info ect..👊, I have a couple hair jigs, 1/16 1/8oz. I use them after we find the crappie lol, from shore if I catch a crappie or 2 I attach jig to a beetle spin spinner, I have a bag of them lol, crappie love them and can catch multi species, great haul👍, tyvm tc 🎣

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing ปีที่แล้ว +1

      U bet man! If ur fishing from the banks, a weighted float and Jig can help ya find where they are at since you can cast far. I opt for the dam area during winter as they congregate around there and you can get em to bite lol. Can't wait for it it get warmer so they can chase and be fished in the shallows

      @@rawrfishing lol I have 2 spots near dams that have like a hole, and especially late season and winter the crappie are in that hole 🤫 lol. We have areas that can catch in the boat when bass aren't biting, or need for lunch or dinner on the water. Crappie are my second favorite fish to catch, of course bass #1🎃. Pickerel love a hair jig too, and when I put on the beetle spin spinner catch bass too👍, will try the 1/16oz with a weighted float thanks, I only keep the crappie that are big enough for 2 filet o fish sandwiches each lol, unless camping or eating at the water which is fun with brother or friends, and can fish more lol.
