- Best Fall BFS Trout Fishing Lure - Mukai B-Chatter. Paired with the Roro Swimbait plastic, this lure flat out done better than all the other lures I have used the day. The Jackson Bottom Magic did pretty good as well, but nothing easier than slow rolling a chatterbait! I also nailed one via the Gancraft Claw 70! Crossing that one off the list!

Fantastic episode Jimmy! 🙌🏼 The size of those Trout tho!? WOW! You know what brother. . . I’ve learned a lot from watching your channel, and I just couldn’t believe Trout would chase down a Finesse ChatterBait. 🤔 You learn something new everyday eh!? 😄 I know I don’t comment much, but I’ve been watching your channel for quite a while now Jimbo, and this Trout Episode was an absolute BANGER! Now don’t get me wrong, I love Bass Fishing and all, and everything that you do, but. . . Trout Fishing was my “first love” of fishing if you will, and it’s where my heart is!
I applaud you on the way you wrangled that last big Trout that was too big to fit in the net. 👏🏼 Some might say that finally landing that last big one, was luck. But man Jimbo, you showed absolute Patients, Technique, and Experience of being a Bank Angler! The mindset and the amount of focus you had on fighting that fish trying to land him. Is it technique and experience that I can’t wait to have one day. You didn’t give him any slack and you kept your line tight the whole time! This episode went straight into my TH-cam Favorite Folder for later, “My Wish List”, for when I get ready to search for and buy that ChatterBait, and “Trout Fishing Tips” for when I head back out on the water.

Hi Manny! Thank you for taking the time to drop a line! I am happy to hear that you enjoy and learn a lot from my videos. Trout fishing is one of my favorite things to do, unfortunately, it is pretty far from home and since having a kiddo, i rarely venture out too far to fish. But I do intend to do a few every season when possible!
Trout fishing is important to me as It is the fishery that brought my brother and I together as we explore the ways to catch em.
Luck and fishing go hand and hand. A lot of things one can't control, but the experience one have and can apply when the time is right would help bring one closer to success by evening the odds! I hope you can practice some of the things you have noted when the opportunity comes during your fall trout fishing adventures!
I still have a few clips that I have not shared from this trip, so i'll compile them sometime in the next couple of weeks :) until then, keep that line wet dude!

thanks! yeah i blew 1.5 hours first spot, then 2nd spot I was pretty much fighting against time as fly anglers flocked to prime fishing spots. The spot i ended up at had 2 fly anglers at the where i was slaying. But I was at the end where the rapids were going to form. THat's where they congregated, so I was happy they were not there lol. Tried many lures until i found the magic. I have enough footage for another video too ;)
I caught a nice 9.5 lb trout last February. Surprised me , It hit hard and just about pulled my pole out of my hand .
That must been a fun catch!
@@rawrfishing , I was using a Shimano spinning reel at the time with 4 lb test . the fish stripped the reel out of line 3 times before I got him in .

Its a hard to find color, but worth it .
I fish Lafayette Reservoir , the largemouth bass record is 14#, the rainbow trout record is 21#

A few times I thought your net was going to break with those huge rainbows. Shame it's catch and release. Any oneof the big ones would have made a good meal. Congrats on the PB rainbow.

Oh it was an amazing day. I nailed 2 smallies too! Will drop those videos a bit later. Trout fishing is amazing! You should do it again and some more if your body allows you to. As you can see, some of these spots are amazing! I don't like them pond or lake stocked trout fisheries. I prefer the streams! It was just so nice watching the leaves fall and the trout colors are just epic!
@@rawrfishingty bro, my brother likes to trout fish still, he can take me to certain spots because can't walk more than 25yds, and whoever takes me fishing has to carry my gear, luck sportsman's club can pull vehicle like 8yds from pond and stock 3 times a year, and it's loaded with trout, did you get smallies on one of the lures used for trout? Tyvm🎣
Gotcha! Club can make it easier for sure. Yeah same lure. I recorded 2k resolution so I will compile a different video later 🙂

I put about 125-150 ft of line. This wasn't my biggest trout btw. I saved footage at higher resolution for a different video edit ;)
I know there were edits but it seemed to have worked better without any plastic on it? And from what I've seen on Mukai website videos they use it bare as well

thanks mate! It's a great way to share my arsenal as sometimes i catch one or two fish with a lure, but an episode never shows up since it doesn't fit anywhere. I used to collect them and hope for a rainy day and stitch em up, but one drive went poof on me and there goes all my saved potentially useful clips T_T

@@rawrfishing I am an avid fly fisherman and just recommending a 19inch net for larger fish instead of multiple swipes at a larger fish with a metal rimmed net which could cause harm is all! I fish the Gorge and it's a beautiful area. Saw my Buddy in your video at 3.40 min mark.
Just wasn't prepared as I didn't expect trophy trout to appear out of no where. But I have nets that would do better than this for a future trip

thx! I have the Curado BFS. it's the same reel essentially. I upgraded it gotten Hedgehog studio bearing upgrade and I have gotten both the Roro spool and the Avail spool. Check those videos out as the same parts would fit the SLX BFS!
