The BMW R12S is the one. One of my older brothers owned a R90s in the seventies, and I am glad that it’s been redited, in such a great package. Only the high price is an important negative
C’mon. This ‘say something nice about the bikes we hope to ride so we can promote our TH-cam channel’ model is so transparent. Any enduro rider knows when you’re out in the bush for several days having charging concerns and range anxiety generally is a buzz kill. E-mtbs have taught us that the technology is unreliable and once they stop they are a dead weight
The only company that we don’t already have a relationship with is Stark, but have to say we are genuinely keen to ride the Varg EX. Having said that, I do agree that if you are enduro riding out in the bush for a few days, charging would be an issue and there are probably better options.
I'm seriously into retro styled bikes. I'd love to see a full review of the up-coming Royal Enfield 650 Classic if you can get your hands on one. :) And preferably the Black/Chrome version too.
Is it just me, or has someone else tried to wipe the black dot off their screen?, only to realise it's on the brick wall to Lucas's left(our right)🤣. Looking forward to what's install for 2025. Happy New Year. Electric bike with noise, may agree with you then😀
Super excited for the Zero and the Stark. People who crib about electric bikes, have not ridden a good one. I've ridden a Surron and the torque and power is addictive.
I was just talking to a mate who’s a keen mountain biker who was telling me about the Surron. Looked them up and they look the goods, might have to talk to them also about getting a press bike.
Going to be a great year for new bikes, bikes to test this year 2025 Kawasaki z900, Honda CB1000 Hornet, 2025 Ducati v2 Panigale and Street Fighter, 2025 Ducati v4, Yamaha R9 - just some suggestions 😊
we should definitely get the Z900, the R9 and the Ducati’s, will have to work on Honda because have heard amazing things about the Hornet. Thanks for watching, and agree, 2025 is going to be a great year.
How about reviewing the much loved BMW F450GS concept bike at EICMA24 when/if it’s released later this year? And I considered the Kawasaki Stockman as a dual sport bike, but opted for the Honda CRF300L Rally… Keep up the good work: BRAPPP!!! 🏍️💨💨💨
If I get an additional bike this year it's going to either be a Triumph Sprint 1050ST or a Honda CBR 954RR FireBlade. Review those two of you can! And a Triumph Tiger 800, so you can compare it with the Sprint. Now that I think about it, you may as well do an old school sport tourer and modern sport tourer shootout! Big asks, I know but I also know that you three always deliver and I'm excited for whatever you put out!
Electric bikes will never win the hearts of motorcyclists. Atleast not in any great numbers. They'll have to pry my ICE bikes out of my cold dead hands! 😅
Don’t get us wrong, we love our ICE bikes…but…electrics are here to stay, and for now as commuters, like the Zero, or Trail riding, like the Stark I reckon they’ll be the goods
I know I shouldn't ask, but every time I watch a vid I wonder "are they all related" 😂😂😂😂, I can't wait to see a himalayan 650, for the Kawasaki, how bout the gen 3 klr 650, and benelli trk 702x
Kawasaki actually wanted to give us a KLR in December but we had to knock it back, no time, might get it in Feb. Himi 650 won’t be here for a while but have the Bear arriving in a week or so and as for the Benelli, we had one last year but didn’t shoot a video on it, make of that what you will.
I genuinely can't wait for the Stockman review. I've wondered about that style of bike for many years. I'm only 55, so the BMW is of no interest to me, but what were Triumph thinking with the Evel Knievel Rocket 3? They have a Bonneville T120 right there in their lineup, which is a modern interpretation of what Evel actually rode. Let's hope HD does it properly & releases an XR based on their 975 engine in an Evel colourway.
Agree the Bonny or Speed Twin would make more sense for an Evil Knievel edition. Did you know Evil Knievel also rode a Laverda? Not entirely sure the Kawasaki will have a Stockman on the press fleet, but two of us are seriously hoping they do
Lots of lame cash grab “specials” from Triumph lately. The “Elvis” ones are the worst. I’m sure that the Rocket will be an absolute weapon , a stump puller at that !
Electric bikes are the engineering challenge, watt-hours per kg is real and for most batteries will not top 300 without the cost and cooling skyrocketing. They claim 120kg and 6hr of riding, ok then we’ll see. Ps this myth of EVs are simple and don’t need maintenance, they are complex in their own way.
You're quickly becoming one of my favorite moto channels
Wow thanks. Really happy to hear that you enjoy our content. What bikes would you like to see us review this year?

Yes, price is up there, as was the price of the R90S back in the day, wish I had bought a few of those 20 years ago, fetching big dollars now

Oh yeah, Hellyer Gorge of the Stark would be fun…just might need to sort out a charging station somewhere
@ hehe itd be flat by the time we got to the river mate but what a giggle
Rocket 3 Evil Knievel. ❤
It would be fun
Wow 2025 is going to be a good year for Biker Torque 😎👌
Hoping so Big Bert. Looking forward to seeing your adventures around Tassie also
@ I messaged Matt from Roads of Oz I may have to put an Adventure trail together for you next time you visit 😎👍
@@BigBertI’d definitely be up for that, shall bring the Himalayan
Honda GB350? I’ve been on one for about a year but always wondered how they compare to a Royal Enfield Classic/Bullet etc.
Not in the market for one , but a back to back comparison would be great
You guys can borrow mine if you want to try it out. :)
Are you based in Sydney?
@BikerTorque I am. North shore area. :)
Hey guys love the channel ,how about the Honda Hornet, are we getting this in Oz
Pretty sure we will get it Australia, as for Honda replying to our emails, well that’s another story.
Looks great team. BMW looks great. Do you get an option on colour?
Pretty sure the R12S is only available in the Daytona Orange tribute colourway

We will definitely be getting one at some point this year, but before that we will have a review of the Bear which we are getting in a week or so

Yep, every time we start editing a video.😂😂😂 then realise it’s a mark in the brick work😂
@BikerTorque since you love retros and teaming up with Kawasaki, you will have to try the z900rs
Super excited for the Zero and the Stark. People who crib about electric bikes, have not ridden a good one. I've ridden a Surron and the torque and power is addictive.

Thanks, glad you are enjoying the channel. Why did you decide on the Honda over the Kawasaki?
And yes, we are also hoping to get on the F450GS if it is released. Assume it will be, seems like a pretty lucrative market

Getting our hands on those to review could be an issue, but never say never
@BikerTorque that's totally fair and I won't hold it against you all if you can't!

One for Ross....a review of a 1972 Laverda 750 SF 🙂
Will do it again one day, bikes still off the road, dropped the engine, getting a full rebuild

lol, well add that to the Q and A video, but short answer, definitely not.

Happy new year . Look forward to seeing what you do for 2025.
Test rode the Zero DS last year . Very impressive bike.
Lukas was raving about it, Tegan and I are keen to have a crack
Triumph 800 tiger sport will rattle a few cages this year

Questions for your upcoming Q&A:
1. How do you all know each other?
2. How did you all get into the moto industry?
Great questions. Short answer to the second question is “by accident”
Shall let you know what range is like if we get to ride the Stark Varg EX, on paper it looks good…but you don’t ride a bike on paper I suppose
