Oddly enough I only just found this channel about 2 hours ago ... I'm really enjoying it ... especially when the vids have more peaceful music like she has in the past few videos of the past few days instead of pop music which gets on my nerves .

The water storage and waterfall connection and story about the water pipe and drought was 👍 Did you put tea leaves with the crushed pomegranate or only hot water?
You show us life there with a storyteller's eye- the grand views, the hidden surprises, the everyday life there- love seeing your animals, the gardening! going to work with you, the cemetery, the cooking, dining out, friends and family, you and Carlo together, different towns, history, how things are done- this is one of only a few channels I binge-watch. How lovely to have the beach to your selves in the quiet season (I look for seaglass whenever you show one of those pebbly beaches).
Carlo looks so happy and at peace in his surroundings and looking at him makes me so happy, please dont think about moving him from Positano. Just a thought.

...Far from boring.😃 As I work on all food services. I enjoyed watching the deli,cheese and food counter. It’s real life. I often go into polish shops near where I live in Streatham ,London . And there shops have a very similar layout and feel. I love there cheese,s and sliced meats. And there gigantic cream doughnuts😋 My heart goes out to both of you, having to carry all that heavy shopping home! I would have been using a few unsavoury words under my breath.... One of my favorite drinks is prosecoo with pomegranate juice - refreshing and just really really good and it would be amazing to have it with such fresh pomegranate juice (For those who do drink alcohol) Thanks for the peek at so many parts that most of us never see.

@@NickiPositano The hotel we love in Sorrento has a small market/deli across the street. A few nights after touring all day, we opted for a stop there for dinner! Deli meats, cheeses, olives, roasted peppers, fruit and of course a bottle or 2 of Prosecco. The 6 of us loved it! I always think of those wonderful “dinners” every time I see fresh fruits and veggies in Italy.

Your filming and editing skills have evolved and you’ve earned far more subs but no doubt that’ll come. Found you this year but have watched many videos. Viewers can watch Skye grow up and learn about yours and Carlo’s life, Positano and nearby areas, Italian culture and Miss Holly who’s pure joy. Animals really often rescue us. Congrats on staying with it and your book. Many writers successfully self publish to start and prefer independence from corp contracts. Patricia Sands is a smaller Canadian writer who published her first novel later in life and eventually signed w/Amazon. Like you she used her adopted home (France) as her muse. I’m not an expert but as a long time sml biz owner who’s sold one biz can I humbly suggest from observ of others on YT adding a fun pre edited section for an ending of ea video asking to like, share, sub if we haven’t obv w/thx and appreciation. Maybe have Skye do it with Holly? I’m not a fan of marketing myself either but you need to and it’s just a fun friendly reminder. Greetings Nicki, have you ever heard of Dolma? It’s a middle eastern and Balkan dish consisting of stuffed grape leaves and rice. A drizzle of that pomegranate molasses while cooking and it’s makes the best dinner or lunch! Eat it cold, lemony and light during the summer, or make it hearty, hot and filling in the colder months! Thank you, once again, Nicki. What a great way to finish a Sunday evening here as you in Europe are enjoying a Sunday morning. Was interested to see the old carob tree on your walk. We had one growing on our property when we lived near Whangarei, in Northland, NZ. We now live at the top of the South Island and haven't seen any, although we have a Mediterranean-type climate. Must look out for one!
There are streets lined with carob trees in the middle of the Karoo desert in South Africa. In Aberdeen they are so plentiful and would be perfect for making carob goodies but seem to be hard to process without expensive machinery. Nicki I so love your vlogs!

...Far from boring.😃 As I work on all food services. I enjoyed watching the deli,cheese and food counter. It’s real life. I often go into polish shops near where I live in Streatham ,London . And there shops have a very similar layout and feel. I love there cheese,s and sliced meats. And there gigantic cream doughnuts😋 My heart goes out to both of you, having to carry all that heavy shopping home! I would have been using a few unsavoury words under my breath.... I just love how you love your pets! Holly is your shadow; you give her so much attention, cuddles and positive incentives! And the chickens! They’re adorable...I’ve honestly always had a fear of feathered creatures, but the way you pick them up and talk to them (they seem to understand your affection) it makes me want to try and hold one too! Maybe one day I’ll find the courage to do so. 😊

We have so many pomegranate in season in Portugal as well. They freeze beautifully and I add them to garnish curries and cakes all winter.
One of my favorite drinks is prosecoo with pomegranate juice - refreshing and just really really good and it would be amazing to have it with such fresh pomegranate juice (For those who do drink alcohol) Thanks for the peek at so many parts that most of us never see.

@@NickiPositano The hotel we love in Sorrento has a small market/deli across the street. A few nights after touring all day, we opted for a stop there for dinner! Deli meats, cheeses, olives, roasted peppers, fruit and of course a bottle or 2 of Prosecco. The 6 of us loved it! I always think of those wonderful “dinners” every time I see fresh fruits and veggies in Italy.

I have thought for a while Holly's a fabulous little dog with real character and her own sense of humor. How hard was it to teach her to ride on the scooter footwell and has she ever fallen off.
When we found her she already knew to get on a scooter. She cannot fall as we put our feet around her like a barrier.

Your filming and editing skills have evolved and you’ve earned far more subs but no doubt that’ll come. Found you this year but have watched many videos. Viewers can watch Skye grow up and learn about yours and Carlo’s life, Positano and nearby areas, Italian culture and Miss Holly who’s pure joy. Animals really often rescue us. Congrats on staying with it and your book. Many writers successfully self publish to start and prefer independence from corp contracts. Patricia Sands is a smaller Canadian writer who published her first novel later in life and eventually signed w/Amazon. Like you she used her adopted home (France) as her muse. I’m not an expert but as a long time sml biz owner who’s sold one biz can I humbly suggest from observ of others on YT adding a fun pre edited section for an ending of ea video asking to like, share, sub if we haven’t obv w/thx and appreciation. Maybe have Skye do it with Holly? I’m not a fan of marketing myself either but you need to and it’s just a fun friendly reminder. Some vloggers list patreon donors at end of ea which is a nice added thx. Some maybe very private so ask. Im sure you’ve thought of all us so feel free to ignore. Apologies for the long comment. 😉

Oh Nicki, I feel for you. I too, like Carlo, grew up playing on cliffs, with the sea below. Now, I have a blind eye and suffer from vertigo. Heights, mountain pathways etc are no-go. Places you hike along would have me swaying like a drunkard. I love that shopping with a panorama.

Greetings Nicki, have you ever heard of Dolma? It’s a middle eastern and Balkan dish consisting of stuffed grape leaves and rice. A drizzle of that pomegranate molasses while cooking and it’s makes the best dinner or lunch! Eat it cold, lemony and light during the summer, or make it hearty, hot and filling in the colder months! Thank you, once again, Nicki. What a great way to finish a Sunday evening here as you in Europe are enjoying a Sunday morning. Was interested to see the old carob tree on your walk. We had one growing on our property when we lived near Whangarei, in Northland, NZ. We now live at the top of the South Island and haven't seen any, although we have a Mediterranean-type climate. Must look out for one!
There are streets lined with carob trees in the middle of the Karoo desert in South Africa. In Aberdeen they are so plentiful and would be perfect for making carob goodies but seem to be hard to process without expensive machinery. Nicki I so love your vlogs!
I loved the “jungle play” and the pomegranate section. I love them and am thrilled to have new recipes. I used to make pomegranate-mango jam for Christmas gifts. So yummy! You should make some for your dad!
