Great start! 1 thing I always recommend is RELOADING, it means you get a second or more use from your brass cases. The 350 is one you'd be able to get built up reloading, you get the components now before they dissapear for a long while. I reside in Canada where the prices make it fractionally cheaper to reload almost everything. 12g, x39, x54r, and .22LR are the only things I dont DIY. Canada doesn't want people with loads of ammo, so I never say how many I have. I do talk about what and how I produce.
You are definitely going about it the right way with the surplus ammo cans. I like the 30cal 50cal and 40mm cans. For well over 10 years I have had a "system" for buying ammo. If I plan to shoot 100 rounds of 9mm at the range, I'll but 200 rounds. Half gets shot, half gets put back. I don't dip into the stuff that gets put back (unless I would absolutely have too). As for hunting ammo I like to keep enough ammo on hand to last me the next 5 years. Since most people will shoot less than a box a year out of their deer rifle or their upland shotgun this is fairly easy.
7.62x39 is gold right now, people bitched about steel case ammo all the time. Now the steel case ammo is going away for the foreseeable future and now the American ammo companies are going to jack up their prices of brass ammo!
For sure only been able to buy Guns and ammo for a few years cause I’m 23 but started stocking at the beginning of this year so hoping to get up there soon!! I got 4 kiddos so money on them first for sure!! Thanks for tuning in tho I appreciate it!!
get into reloading! there is a decent upfront cost but you get to shoot more and can load to each weapon , can easily make 1k rounds of your choice. Start saving your brass now, you can even start with a single stage press and work your way up from there
Everyone says the belittling you need more ammo statement but always think about it you’ll make yourself a target no matter how good of a shot or how many guns you have if you have hundreds of thousands of rounds or millions unless your a recluse who has no friends and no traceable social media
Fact.Majority of you that say,oh those are weak numbers bro you need way more.You probably have less than this? Just don’t be the guy that has 30 guns and has no ammo for 20 of em and a box of ammo for the rest.Better to have one gun and lots of ammo than lots of guns and no ammo!!!

I have about 18k rounds of steel cased ammo. I bought it while it was cheap.
