If preppers with farms will resist during emergencies giving up their excess resources, government forces in MRAPs (in the US even police departments have those metal beasts) will be sent to make an example of that kind of behavior by driving right through preppers wooden farmhouses, making them homeless in the process and portraiting them as criminals on TV that hoarding supplies away from starving children in needs and there would be not a soul taking risks to have anything with preppers behaving like that for fear of being targeted by the government too, it all happened multiple times before just using different locally available methods...

After Hurricane Katrina, FEMA confiscated all the tires from a nearby new tire store. They confiscated 3 tanker trucks of gasoline from my employer at the time this was fuel sent by the head office to fuel the company's fleet of vehicles. Finally one truck got through. They took over the main office of the company I worked for used for telecommunications. As cell service began to be restored they would just cut off any phone calls in progress. FEMAs main function is to perpetuate the continuation of government.
They sure did take the company’s gasoline even while the company was providing construction materials for the community.
Maybe they can go to the Billionaire's bunkers and take theirs first.

My husband was a WWll and Korean War pilot. He had great respect for the Salvation Army volunteers who served the servicemen and not much good to say about the Red Cross who asked for donations for coffee, etc.

I ran FEMA off after we went through a tornado in December. I told them that I didn’t trust them. I ran Red Cross off twice. I told them the same thing.

I've heard that food stored in Mason jars are less likely to be confiscated due to the risk of the glass breaking, weight and perceived risk of spoilage.

My dad lost his house due to lightning. Red cross came and realized that he was a white man ,turned away and left him nothing. Social security office gave him a $75 gift card and said good luck. No food ,no bed ,no help, He was 80 years old ! No help for a white tax paying American.

No confiscations should ever be allowed. The gov’t should be preparing to supply what is needed.
If we believe in a small and limited government (as in the constitution), then that’s not their job. It’s our own job to take care of ourselves, then others around us. The bigger problem is we can’t afford to help others right now, and with all the taxes we pay, they set us up for dependency on the government.

However in national emergencies like hurricanes that wipe out communities, or massive flooding that takes out others, or wars that limit supplies from imports, the gov’t steps in with FEMA support and low interest loans to get people back on their feet. Thus we also have Nat’l Strategic Security Reserves of food, grains, water, and fuel. Biden stole ours. He gave away our food reserves to the 3rd world and sold off our oil reserves - NONE OF THAT SHOULD EVER HAVE BEEN TOUCH - it was for NATIONAL SECURITY THREATS, which a grid down would be. This is why I don't use a "store loyalty card" and pay cash when buying preps. The store's data bases may be examined to get ideas on who is "hoarding".

During WWII my grandmother told me the police would go into your home and look for sugar, coffee, and a few other items and take them.
Under the chicken coop are they had glass jars of sugar. They had plywood over them had dirt over it.
Many stories from her. I’m surly not a prepper, have always had a couple of months of items which have been needed many times in our life.

Yeah, FEMA tried to setup shop in my town, and no one used them. Eventually, they left without taking anything. Granted, this was before we had so many transplants that are so flipping dependent.
FEMA does NOT confiscate food OR guns. They come to see if you qualify for repairs on your home after a disaster. They also help the city with funds to repair parks, fire departments, bridges, etc. And yes, after helping people, they leave. I don't know who this guy is that made this video, but he's wrong.

I’ve invested in honing skills over stockpiling supplies. I have some for the beginning of a shtf situation but I know how to keep going when those supplies run out. I live on the water and know where some big oyster reefs are, I got some fishing poles, I know how to turn the salt water into fresh water. If I have to move, I know how to set traps. I also know several ways to start a fire.
Sensible Pepper…I have a potential solution: please take action, and be an agent of significant change. Recruit..build a massive team. To take back our local, state snd federal government. Change the laws…return the nation to the people. Lead a few…to institute the necessary changes…the few will grow…the few will become many.

After 2 weeks of empty shelves in stores 99% of the population will become desperate. After 90 days 50% of the population will be either dead or gone. Very true, but that does not stop them. They have the guns, they are well organized, and they largely control the courts. They also make up laws unilaterally, that are in many ways harmful to you, without your consent, while they lie/speak propaganda to you by telling you it is "good for you" and that you should support them, and then they expect you to obey (and if don't, they will imprison you, and if you try to physically resist, they will kill you). Once they make up such laws, they become virtually impossible to remove, unless they themselves decide to remove them (which they practically never do).

Our grandparents and great grandparents were used to having these things in abundance. As much food as they could store and as much ammo they could afford. It's still wierd to me that we have to worry about our government more than anything else
I live in a small condo HOA. I have been stocking food and supplies, in a garage storage unit, for a while now. They will be shared with all my neighbors here when the SHTF.
I trust any LEOs as far as I can throw them. I suspect these individuals will keep much of what they take for their own personal use - and turn over to the state just enough to make it look like they're doing there job.

This is one of the primary reasons that invading the US isn't a feasible option. Some other country may be able to militarily defeat our forces but then they would have to deal with a whole lotta pissed off citizens that won't ever surrender. A war on US soil would last 100 years and still wouldn't be resolved.

The skinny 70yr woman had her revolver hid. But it was recorded she had it. This truck size cop plunged her into the wall and busted her up. A cop that needed to dye right then. So she gave up her gun 2days later some thug raiders came in on her and robbed her of essentials. The cops left her w/o the only way of her protecting herself. His violent abuse was recorded. Its enough to P.Off anyone.

Romans 13 is clear on government's role and boundaries. When government crosses over into authority granted/established by God but not theirs, it is incumbent on us to not follow (disobey).
Many good books but let me recommend "Caesar and the Church: A Biblical Study of Government and the Church" by Anthony Forsyth, a readable work that deals with, along with other issues, the government's crackdown on churches during covid, restricting how and when churches could worship, a clear violation of governmental authority. My church as well as thousands of others did not obey.
Most people aren't aware of our constitutions own wording on that situation. It says something to the effect that not only is it every mans right but his *duty* to overthrow tyrants and their governments.

I've lived on a boat for 25 years. During that time I've gotten shoulder refrigerator and air conditioning and Generator and all kinds of things. I always try to keep a minimum of 30 days supplies on my boat, which does include perishables. I've worked as a carpenter in construction most of my life, and I've learned that work isn't regular for us. Must always have a good supply of food. I also live in a place to catch a whole lot of hurricanes. But in any disaster you have to survive it first. Good luck out there
