Honestly thank you i was trying to make this work for hours! quick claim it does work with 1.6 Version of Sekiro if u download the latest Mod Engine past 22.5.2021.

My brain could not wrap around why i couldn't get the poorly translated mod to work (first one i'm trying) and just explaining a bit of how this is working allowed me to troubleshoot realizing it needed the files to appear in similar substitute directories. You get a subway.
i used vortex, from nexus mods to download most of this, only to realize that the mods didnt work, after looking through this video, and following along until I got to the "parts" spotit seemed easy but i realised the mods i have dont have the "parts" folder in them, but my \mods folder already has a "parts" in it, with some jibberish inside it, is this becasue I already downloaded them before, and vortex tried to set them up by itself, but just didnt directly install mod engine into the sekiro folder? or is their a problem with my downloads?

You have your mods folder right? Okay you copy all of the folders the whole folders not going into the folders and copying the stuff out of it. Like for example you have a name of a folder you just put them inside the mods folder. What version u on cuz I jus installed bossrush on 1.4 cracked version of game. I didn't even try to install because everyone says u can't do it with a cracked version and that's incorrect

Whenever I launch the game, it loads like normal as if Mod Engine wasn't even installed. The Activision and Fromsoft Logos still show up. Using version 1.16 and on sekiro version 1.06. If anyone has a fix for this please let me know.
Do you know where one could find more info on what parts files correspond to what piece of Sekiro's armor or weapon? Like I understand that the prefix "wp" corresponds to the weapon, and "bd" typically corresponds to (I assume through trial and error) the body. So a group of files for a simple mod that recolors Sekiro's coat and scarf will be named: bd_m_9000.partsbnd bd_m_9030.partsbnd bd_m_9040.partsbnd But what part corresponds to each piece of clothing? Say I want to mix and match pieces from different mods, is there anywhere I can refer to that will tell me "9000 is the coat, 9030 is the scarf, etc."? Obviously there could be compatibility issues but with simple retextures and recolors it should work in theory. I've looked around but there really doesn't seem to be good resources to learn about it.

Do I have to make the "parts" folder for graphics mods? I saw on this, and other videos, that you guys put weps and such parts into that folder, everything else simply goes into "Mods" folder...
You have to make the directory called "mods" in the Sekiro directory if you don't have it. The files you download should already have a parts folder. If not, you'll have to create one.
I know your comment is 6 months old... but if you still have this issue, try deleting the "Sound" folder inside the Mods folder , if you have the Sound folder that is. Hope this helps, or others reading this
@@tnseoul you didn’t specify if it was the same file type lmao. There’s files that are named weapon for weapon mods and files named arm,leg,body, etc for the character model so you can have those all in the same folder.
hey there you've really helped but I'm still having issues installing the reshade mods preset I've installed reshade and placed the ini file in my senior folder but when I select the ini file in reshade nothing happens
Does reshade load and it doesn't load the ini file? If so, you should be able to force reshade to load by opening up the menu in-game and pointing to the file.

Doing it at the last second, doing it early, mid way. It just doesn't work, I passed the game twice on console so I know how to play. It just in PC I cant do it. Is it a bug?
@@fatcat1670 I waited for a certain attack that made him like rush to you and then used the feathers but dont use it before it hits you, use it a bit earlier so you catch him in the animation of him moving. Then just spam the fuck out of him out of lock on mode

I did exactly as you did in this video but nothing has changed in game. My playermodel is still Sekiro. Wondering if you could help! Thanks! Sadly, no. You'll have to do this every time to change a mod. Even if you use the mod Engine, it's still the same way.

What if the mods folder isn't there?
You will always need to create the mod folder. Unless you already installed a mod in the past.
