This gun is insanely strong with the incarnon now. Recently unveiled a dual crit riven and now both modes have over 100% crit and 7x to 12x crit dmg. The incarnon mode is perfect for the full auto because without it the semiauto was a pain in the wrist to do
Weapons like this are good for improving skill. I always wanted to like the weapon because of the headshot gimmick and now it's receiving its due. Between this and Dual Ichor incarnon, it's good to see old weapons come back.

For those that are having trouble on the 4th evolution requiring 17 headshots, the easiest way to achieve that is to go to the Plains at night and shoot Voms'. Get your mag and multishot loaded. For me it only took 6 shots to get to 17.
Love your videos man simple straight to the point just the way I like it and if anyone's having trouble getting the 17 headshots just go shoot the idolon in the head jump on your arc wing and shoot you'll be done like in 5 seconds
I think these are literally the best secondary DPS for level cap disruption rn. Vasto is good too but these have way more rounds available and take care of the trash mobs with ease at level 9999 with no armor strip

Even to charge it, you just have to hit enemies with it, no headshots needed. Just for that alone it’s the best one out of the bunch
To complete the 17 headshots for 4th challenge Really you can just go to titan on sedna pop 20 abilities to get the max multi-shot on the weapon then just shoot the acolyte in the head with incarnon mode. Its way more rewarding that way.
Honestly, this is a weapon that (speaking from experience, as a former D2 player) that by its nature performs better on PC simply because it requires higher precision.
I know it's been 4 months since that comment, but I'd like to suggest using the new Acuity mods if you haven't yet. The weapon has a crappy precision (which is good) so even if you don't try getting a headshot, at least one shot will probably hit the enemy's head and deal A LOT of damage because of Secondary Acuity (And it also frees some slots, since you can't modify multishot when equipped).

Layzar brother I never forgot this weapon Inaros is my true main playing him for 4 years straight without playing another frame. For those of you in the comments who read this and don't know why I'm bringing up inaros the dual toxocyst are his secondary released with his bundle in fact I used to have a riven that had 398% damage 225% multi-shot and 174% status chance and neg zoom then the meta for the weapon changed with incarnon now I got 190% cc 108% sc 105 cd neg zoom It has always been and will always be my favorite secondary ever.

I'm trying mine out with Seeker and Xata's Whisper. Seems like it works pretty well, but the enemies just die too quickly for the rebounds, even with Steel Path modifiers.
In order to do the last upgrade i had to take off my pet and the multishot buff from the 2nd tier evolution and go to e-prime and plink people in the face.

OMG I was so confused with the Headshot challenge in my case it worked when I did a solo capture mission. In ESO for some reason, I cant even fathom, it resets the challenge back to zero after a few seconds??
when I saw that datamined video, I didn't think it'd get ricochet shots, and honestly, does it reaalllyy need it? the problem with this weapon was the reliance on headshot with its slow fire rate and recoil and I think the incarnon form with added fire rate and being full-auto, fixed all those issues. This feels very overkill xD. I do gotta wonder, where the Lato incarnon sits, compared to this thing.
I got my headshots from a void angels with no mods equipped for the 4th evolution because it seems glitched doing the 17 consecutive headshots due to the procs making the challenge reset.
I have a +MS +SC +DMG -AMMO and it's kinda awkward to make a build for it. For now I'm thinking of dropping chamber in favor of perk MS(5%x20:100%) and riven MS(140%) and adding Creeping Bullseye. Only issue with this is that it has -20% less fire rate than normal unless I'd rather deal with primed pistolgambit which I dont have
Btw for the longest time that -ammo cap was a significant drawback because it didn't let you use the synth charge setup which was to keep the magazine at 1/0 and keep shooting with frenzy. Although that playstyle was too demanding for me anyway.
My riven is very similar, but the neg is unfortunately decrease against grineer. I can just make a separate build, but the other stats should make up for it right?

My final incarnon challenge is bugged very badly. It says I just gotta get 16 headshots without reloading but the meter wont fill past 2 headshots. It doesn't say it's timed,it doesn't say it has to be different enemies and it doesn't say headshot kills. What am I missing? I'm not using the incarnon form either
Didnt the tomb guardians and exo grinieer units have tons of armor and hp in higher levels? Could they show better damage results in the simulacrum or.....?
Tomb guardians will split into 2 when you hit them which will overcrowd the simulacrum with mini tomb guardians constantly running around staggering you with rocks, but exo grineer are tankier and are more useful when testing for sp viability.
I'm aware of the splitting, I had it in my head using 3 or 4 to show weapons power starting, and then ramping up on crowd kills to show some dps possibilities. And the exo units might be good as a follow up test since corrupted heavies and bombards are easier to handle since recent updates

I did some testing, and if someone struggles with headshots, gas damage can proc frenzy for you constantly.
7:40 you can swap lethal torrent to forma slot and replace jolt with convulsion

Idk if its just me but the last challenge doesnt work if you have a campanion with you or you use any type of status effect on the gun.

Decrease against a faction is perfect. It only takes away a little from the primary damage mod. It is a good negative.

Companion damage will reset the counter in my experience. Build the 20x multishot and it will help alot.
