Cecil, not only is your playing technique extremely accurate, but so is your (english) language when explaining it. In the vortex of the TH-cam world of guitar videos, this is like an oasis of precise, positive and rich information, explained in a calm and encouraging way. Thank you!
I WILL be buying this! There are very, very lessons on double timing Jazz lines. I only know of one older TH-cam fellow, and certainly, no books or DVDs. I already have the 57 doubletime lines.
I’d hope he has right hand picking techniques notated in the book. Left hand fingerings too. If not I’d prolly end of playing the lines with somewhat different right hand techniques. That would make these exercises more useful.
great great player ! but the tabs on most of the exemples are not always what he is showing here slow....so not the same figering slow than on the fast versions extract from the double time package....

Hey Cecil! This is the most valuable lesson you’ve given me so far, and I already have the 57 doubletime lines, so thank you, thank you, thank you!
57 Double Time Lines is a great resource! These technique videos are inspirational.
Love this video. I have this book. I wish that all the articulations and pick directions taught in this video were notated in the book!
Thank you very much for the lesson Cecil. The A and C note are played one octave higher than notated.
Thank you for this amazing lesson! Very helpful.
Cecil, muchas gracias amigo por éstas clases magistrales que me inspiran mucho, eres increíble, gracias

Aw man. I thought there was a separate course on technique! I guess I will be leaning on this video heavily.

just fyi around 4:30 you say and play g flat, but the notation has g natural (the sixth note in the phrase)
Thanks Cecil for the tips, I had no idea on how to incorporate down stroke sweep arpeggios, now I have some idea. 🤯👌
