Thank you Cecil ❤❤
CA is now my new guitar hero.
1.) you’re amazing. 2.) there are so many jazz concepts i don’t know. 3.) i need to study. Whether that’s lessons or books, i gotta keep learning.
Extremely chill playing - go Strat go!
amazing channel man!
One of the absolute greats of modern jazz guitar.
I always upvote Cecil
Very good instruction! A good method to approach Giant Steps. 🎸
whats up, im getting back into jazz guitar and i love it.
Great player 🔥
I guess I'll excerpt nr 3. My girlfriend always complain on me resolving too fast :(
THAT LINE THAT YOU PLAYED AT 7.6 SECONDS 😱😱
Yeah my that caught my ear too
When you use melodic cells, in what context do you decide to use 1-2-3-5 or 1-2-5-6.
Thanks for your help Cecil
Thanks for posting. I was wondering why you used the #11 in the B MAJ arpeggio off the 5th (F# MAJ 7). The other arpeggios seem to be diatonic.
Because the diatonic arpeggio starting on F# would contain an E natural, which wouldn't represent Bmaj7 properly. The raised fourth sounds better than the natural fourth in the context of a major I-chord arpeggio.
Just discovered you, very 2:04 good so far. Will be checking you out in the near future.....
ok, ok...
Great vid man. I took some giant steps to the subscribe button!
i love your guitar collection brother! so tired of the “jazz tone” police.
👍
Giant Steps to Master Giant Steps :)
