How to get oil spots off your driveway CHEAP

I had a oil leak from my Jeep (it was the oil filter adapter seal) it came to the point where I needed to fix it, I did, then clean the driveway so I was pressure washing my driveway as my dad cane home, he said the pressure washer wouldn’t take the oil up which I knew I was just doing it to clean the driveway, my dad tells me to get some cat litter (clay cat litter) and he gives me the instructions on what to do, progressively I get further and further down the driveway and this result of most of the oil staining now gone. Be sure to get cat litter with clay in it, it soaks up better
