I've been doing this a Long time and it happened to me today. When it happens it happens Quick! We cleaned it up pretty good with the blower, but the water is definitely a good extra tip. Thanks for the content! And yes a realtor will throw us under the bus at any opportunity lol
Hey Johnny, You are the lawn magician, when I saw the lawn I was shocked, I had my doubts, you brought the back...crisp! Amazing tip...Thank you! Time to get Hot.
Came across this again love this you an honest and sincere person and u take pride in your work if I was to see this video I would employ u to do my yard as it shows u care god bless u my friend
I usually use a rake on it to lift the grass back up and then afterwards I wet the grass to wash the mud off it'll look 3x cleaner almost unnoticeable👌🏼
Here in Texas it gets really hot. The problem I have every once in a while is mowing a lawn then the next day finding what I call heat lines. Like the tires take the color right off the grass. I have tried watering the yard pre mow and just about everything else.
Nice work. You have a great sense of duty and take pride in your work 👏🏽👍🏾👍🏾cut a yard today also and made those marks on the side. The worst thing is I knew it was coming. I could minimize it by weed eating, unfortunately kids where ready to come out and play.
That’s what I was thinking too. I’ll carry a spray head if I start my own business along with a hose of course. No wonder I saw a guy with a hose today with their lawn care stuff.
But what about the ruts it's made - the indentation of those tires? The grass may grow up and cover them but when it comes time to mowing the lawn it will be hell.
Yard that soggy/wet takes 2 blistering hot days to dry up. Too heavy to put a stander on. I just wait it out. That's how I erase tire marks too. Just like fanning it with water. 😄
Client cancel the account because it happened to me and other lawn companies stopped by and criticized the lawn trying to take the lawn off me but I told him let me just run de sprinkler system and mud will wash off. I think he did and did not even pay the service. Sad!
I usually leave them. The rain washes them out, or they dry up on their own. If they're real ruts, then I make sure they're filled in and repaired before I leave.
@@Vrtroopers the owners should know that if you mow wet grass, this is a possibility, and if they complain, I will explainit to them ( the few times I've had it happen, customers understood, or did not complain....even when Inhad to fix muddy ruts, they understood ). If you turn the whole property brown, that's a different story 😂 I'm not saying what he did was wrong; I just don't do it. 🤷♂️
@@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power yeah I mean someone has to take responsibility for asking for a service. This would be like complaining that your grass got all tore up because you hired some guys to bring a skid steer into your back yard. I mean at some point you gotta be like "you want your grass mowed or you want to wait til its dry?"
Your doing to much papa! It's not your fault that the grass was wet when you came I always let clients know when I sign a new customer up to make sure to not water the lawn 48hrs before I come to cut and also I let them know if it rains the day before we come to call and cancel till later in the week or we will still come out and are not responsible for tire marks and ruts in the lawn. But if the lawn is too soaked we won't cut anyways. Yah man communication is key bro from the beginning that way they won't ever come back and say shit to you.
Nice video, but the bigger issue is mowing that area that is saturated and causing compaction issues. It's my biggest pet peeve on lawn companies. They can ruin lawns by doing this. And most dont care about the damage they are doing to customers lawns..
The extra effort alone to try and fix the problem is what sets you apart from others. Your customers will definitely appreciate it. Good stuff!
I appreciate it
Thanks Johnny! Your videos have really helped me grow my business this year!
Great to hear!

What about when a car leaves a rut In your lawn? Got a fix for that? Thank you
I know this is off topic. The question is as a general rule what order do you cut a yard in the fall? Edge, trim, cut blow
i had a mini heart attack when i saw the bee on your head lol
😂😂😂👍
Awesome vid! Whats a small yard like that cost? Thanks
Will your sit on zero turns go vehicle to a ditch without getting stuck if it’s pretty steep?

NEGATIVE! Leaf blower blows mud all over including the side of the home and it looks the same
Got mud lines???
Make more mud to blend it on lol.

Tell the owner you have no idea who could have done it. Leave it get outa there asap.
