    Of course, we have a lock function, as long as you manually press and hold the power on, you can lock the light.

      I have several of your products and really appreciate a solid affordable alternative that you offer DIYers and professionals in the trades like myself. I already have the products my own personal Huepar lasers and have someone doing a review In June 2022 the review should be posted in July 2022. I’d do the review myself but I don’t think I’m qualified 😆. Thanks!!

      I got a S03CG.. the power button doesnt work and the laser doesnt turn on when I move the lock slider. The only way to turn on the laser is to remove the battery and reinsert it. Am I doing something wrong or I received a faulty model?

    I now own three Huepar models. They all out perform my $1000 Bosch and my $700 Dewalt. The very first thing I noticed with the Huepar lasers is the quality of the beam. Unlike the blurry lines on both my Bosch and my DeWalt, the Huepar has an incredibly crisp line with no bleed-out. Very durable and charges great. The remote, sensor and app also well refined features. Well worth the price at 70-80% less than Bosch and surprisingly outperforming my Bosch. Hard to admit that I overpaid for brand names in the past. But I believe Huepar is going to be the leader of the pack in the construction laser industry very soon.

    To turn on locked , with the laser off instead of turning on sliding the button has to turn on by pressing the top button for about 3s, then to turn off unlocks itself on the side button and turns off the same

    My friend you can lock out the self leveling function in order to shoot an angled line such as stairs, etc. You must hold one of the buttons down. Just keep working with it. You’ll figure it out

    Very well thought out video. Thanks for the info. I’m trying to choose a three plane green laser, I think I’m gonna stick with the Bosch 360° three plane laser. These levels should have that lockout feature you’re right!

      Turns out they do! Check the comment from Huepar below. Although you cannot go wrong with a Bosch 😀

    • @MrShadyCash
      @MrShadyCash 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I'm back and forth with what I'm getting. I have a Bosch rn and I think I'm getting the 400 dollar cross laser with plumb and Bluetooth, but mainly because it's 12v and I'm so sick of buying batteries. If I do get that I am buying the stand for this laser. It's 39 on Amazon and the micro adjustments on it are simply awesome. So it's the Bosch or the 4d version of this. But yeah, the Hauper for sure can lock the pendulum for doing a stairway for instance. Anyways, have a good day!

    The locking mode would be a deal-breaker for me. I found this:
    To switch on the laser in the locked mode:
    1. Switch off the device
    2. Hold the center button (power button) for >2s

    Yes they absolutely do have a lock function all of the lasers do that this brand offers that I’m a aware of. That’s kind of disappointing that you did not take the time to put the laser through it’s paces and know its limits which the tilt mode feature is not one of them. I apologize I’m not trying to be rude but people watch reviews to get good information and not all people are going to go to the comments if you weren’t going to actually use the laser you should’ve at least read the Instruction book that’s written in at least 10 different languages and faked it. That laser has the ability to recalibrate itself If it does get dropped which other lasers don’t offer. Some of their other models can be recalibrated by removing the towers and dialing in a small brass Allen bolt. And I have the Bosch at 30 feet plus this laser is actually more accurate if you would’ve taken the time To pull a 6- 8-10 or 9- 12-15 and snapped some control lines you would know that.

      @@davidsantos6408 This is the same with all of their units. I have this unit and the BO3CG PRO. I just recently picked up the SO4CG and another useful feature to mention is the LCD screen that displays angles. This is great for when the pendulum is locked and you need repeated results when shooting a sloped control line. Also works well as a digital level and angle finder.

      So for a all around laxer level it’s decent?

    • @steffendetrick9403
      @steffendetrick9403 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@chadhouse1375 yes they offer probably 20 different models so all depending on what you’re looking for and how much you wanna spend. They use German laser diodes I was surprised how good their lasers were. You can pick this one up for about $200 off eBay or directly from them or for $249 on Amazon. Battery life’s decent not great four to six hours but you can purchase extra lithium ion battery packs for about $22. Hope that helps.

    You probably figured this out by now but you should be able to lock out the pendulum and use it in manual mode. To do so, slide the power switch on the side to off to lock the pendulum then press the power button between the H and V at the lcd screen for 2 seconds. Should now be in manual mode and the laser will blink about every 5 seconds to remind you it’s not in self leveling mode.
