  • In this video, we'll be taking a closer look at the Huepar P03CG laser level and discussing why green lasers are better than red lasers. We'll start by explaining the science behind why the human eye is more sensitive to green light and how this impacts visibility. Then we'll dive into the features of the Huepar P03CG and show you how it uses a green laser to provide superior accuracy and visibility compared to traditional red laser levels. We'll also cover some of the other key benefits of the Huepar P03CG, including its ability to work well in bright lighting conditions and its user-friendly design. Whether you're a professional contractor or a DIY enthusiast, this video will give you a detailed understanding of why the Huepar P03CG is one of the best laser levels on the market and why green lasers are better overall.

    Great (and amusing!) review Aiden 🙂 I've got an old Orient LP412 cross line laser with plumb bob spot. I think most were red back then, so not that bright, but good with a detector.

    • @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT
      @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it's easier and cheaper to produce a red laser, which explains why they were more prominent in the past. I've always struggled with Plumb bobs and the poxy string 😂 with these 3x360 lasers you get the benefit of them crossing so you can use it as a Plumb Bob, that'll definitely be handy!

    Cheers, interesting video. I've just found you thanks to @RagnBoneBrown mentioning you in a video. Just to check how it performs outside, I know you quickly covered it but thought I'd just ask for clarification. I've got some outdoor projects over ~15m do you think the laser is visible in full sun over that distance? I've got an old stanley cubix which is ok for indoor projects but hopeless over any significant distance or in bright light.

    • @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT
      @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Tom 👋 I'm not sure any laser would be visible over that distance in the sun (to the naked eye at least). You would need to get a receiver. I don't have one from Huepar but I asked Leo from Hand-I-craft if he could do a quick demo on his channel. Head over there and subscribe (we all know eachother 😂). He said he should get the video out next week 👍

    Any good for outside use? My old faithful Stanley red has been great inside but with a new building planned I need something for my brick garage build for walls and roof setting out..

    • @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT
      @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Green is better for outdoors over red that's for sure. I tested it against a wall earlier that was in the shade and could see the laser when it was about 10m away. If it's in direct sunlight outside including the wall then you'll struggle over 3m. Apparently it's easier to see if you wear green goggles, although it's probably better to just get a receiver

      @ricolaracing ปีที่แล้ว

      @@THE-AIDEN-PROJECT yeah, think I’ll keep looking for one with a receiver. As always I’m torn between getting a more ‘pro’ tool second hand or something like this new..

    • @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT
      @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ricolaracing haha that's the same predicament I was in, but I eventually decided I didn't want to get a second hand one that may have been bashed and dropped a million times. I decided which one I was going to buy from Huepar and it was just chance they offered me that exact model! They do have combo kits on their website which have a laser and receiver. Or you can just add on a receiver to whatever model you want. For the model I have you can add a receiver for £45 extra.

    I have a cheapo Screwfix one, just a cross line red light laser. Works OK indoors but outside it's totally useless. I was tempted to get on of those floor to ceiling poles but my goodness they are rather pricey for what they are. I just use a mini camera tripod or my actual camera tripod with it (unless I can just sit it on something). I'd really like one of these multi line things that can go all round a room but can't really justify the cost for the number of times I'd use it. One day!!

    • @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT
      @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I looked at them poles a few weeks back but then considering my ceiling height and pitch I decided it would be a waste 😂 when I bought my original bosch I thought it was really expensive and didn't think I'd use it much but it has come in handy many times and I've had it about 7 years maybe. I'd like to think of it this way, £200 for a tool might be alot upfront if you don't use it all the time but in 10 years time you will probably still have it and it's only really cost you 20 quid a year 😁

    I read somewhere that the huepar units with these types of batteries can accept DeWalt batteries, albeit with some convincing... If this is true, I imagine fitment was not by coincidence, but absolutely love the idea if true. Can anyone confirm this? SO willing to buy one if I don't have to worry about cheap proprietary batteries dying and no longer produced a year from now

    • @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT
      @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT  ปีที่แล้ว

      They look very similar but the huepar ones are smaller. The pins don't like up. It may be worth looking to see there is an adapter though? I'd say if there is an adapter then the DeWalt battery may block part of the top laser though 🤷

      Someone mentioned that it's the same size as the DeWalt 12v battery. So maybe? You might need to take a little bit of plastic off or something
