Is this a second channel for you? I don’t see anything else listed, but your content is much better than expected, given your number of subscribers. I mean that as a compliment - you and whoever you are working with (I see you say “we” in the description box) are doing a great job. I found this video by looking up reviews for this machine.
Thank you, it's my only channel. It's a battle for sure! I have no idea why some channels do well, but their content is rough and ours has taken a while to get going, but I'm grateful that nearly 100,000 people have taken the time to watch our videos. That would fill most arenas 5 times... just confused why such a small number hit that subscribe button! Thanks again for the comment. Peter
Thank you for making this video. I’m a new user of this machine and have watched a lot of videos. The quantity of my expresso looks to be half the size of yours and others. Is there a way to adjust?
Hi Karen, this machine does not produce a lot of espresso, but depending upon the coffee beans used it is very strong . I use Starbucks French Roast that I buy at Costco since my Costco doesn't sell their espresso beans. I have not found any way to adjust the quantity of espresso. If you find a way please come back and leave a message. Peter
Twist the black top part of the tamper to release the spring mechanism for it to tamp correctly if you have not already done so. It looks like you may have, but I noticed there are no instructions that I saw to do it and I noticed a lot of new owners don’t know that it has the spring mechanism 😊 Thank you for the video!
@@RyanHitchcock821 No, I just kind of twisted only the top black piece of mine while holding on to the bottom until it rotated/spun freely and that released the spring mechanism in the bottom portion of tamper (metal part) mine was stiff at first until I did that. If the black portion of yours already spins then your tamper spring is already activated.
Hi Michael, yes, I buy Starbucks French Roast whole bean coffee at Costco. My local store doesn't have the Kirkland espresso beans so I buy French Roast. Peter
Hi Christopher, I used French roast beans from Starbucks because that's what was on sale at Costco. Costco does sell espresso beans but not in my market. In my opinion, Illy makes the smoothest coffee for regular espresso, but I make a lot of espresso based drinks and I like beans with more of a bite to them for this style of drink. This is why I use the darker roast beans. You'll need to explore and see what you like the best. Hope this helps and enjoy your new machine. I'm enjoying mine. Peter.
I agree with you that this machine does make VERY strong espresso (which is one of the things I love about the machine.) I use the espresso from this machine to make coffee drinks, such as iced latte's etc. The only way to tame this intensity down is to try different coffee beans... maybe use coffee beans that are not as roasted as an espresso or French roast coffee bean. I don't know where you live but one of the smoothest coffees I have ever had is the Illy brand. Their coffees are (in my opinion) the best when drinking straight espressos. The espresso is very smooth. Be sure to get whole bean coffee by Illy as they also sell pre-ground, which will not work. Peter
I have the Jura... which is a favorite. I have had the Jura for about 8 years. Use it everyday. My spouse likes the Keurig because it easily makes classic coffee, and we'll keep that one. The Nespresso, to me, is a nice machine but I don't think it's great for making cold drinks as it does not make true pulled espresso. I like the Nespresso more than the Keurig. I have had a couple of Ninja coffee machines over the years and those I have given away to charity years ago. They make good coffee but they are not convenient because they use ground coffee and it's a mess to deal with that for one or two cups. The new Ninja machine makes VERY strong espresso and having the milk frother built in is a plus. I am NOT sponsored by anyone by the way. Peter
Hi Lalala, I have used the machine literally twice a day, every day since I have had the machine and only had to do the 'dial-in procedure' on the initial brew. Now, as I also stated in the video, I am NOT making regular classic coffee in the Ninja Luxe Cafe, and in my opinion, Keurig does a good job with Classic Coffee with less hassle. Personally, I am only making espresso drinks, so I am NOT changing out the beans. If you are changing out the coffee beans to a different style, then yes, you have to do the dial-in. I am not doing this. People can read the manual and decide for themselves what works. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! Peter
In reality, espresso is an Italian word when translated means express or quick. The machine expresses the hot water through the coffee beans creating the drink commonly called espresso but the pronunciation can go either way. I am not Italian so I'm not hung up on how the word is pronounced. Peter
I am not sure what you mean by changing out the baskets? They definitely fit tightly in the portafilter. I just pull the basket out and make sure I am lining up the basket correctly in the portafilter. No other issues. Peter
Hi Simon, do you really need to see a machine taken out of a cardboard box to think it is an unboxing? OR, is it not just as good to be shown what came out of the box - in detail (which I did). Watching someone take something out of the box is just boring and I (and obviously thousands of others) want to see what came in the box (which I showed) and a quick intro to the machine (which I also showed.) Anyway, thanks for watching and for the comment! Peter
Could it be that I had just come off a road trip where I was driving into the sun for 5 hours or that I have 6 very bright studio lights pointing at me? BP is fine. More coffee please. Peter
@@PeterHudsonaz Bro, no one with that much visceral fat around their organs is healthy but you do you. It only takes six months hard work to get rid of it, I’ve been there.

U can also change the ratios and manual froth
Thinking about getting one just watching all the reviews on it and they are all positive
I use mine everyday! Peter

Thank you Peter for your great and informative content. ❤

Can you froth the milk while making the coffee?
@@chriscrowder3844 Chris I don't think so. One or the other... I suspect it is a power issue.

Do you use while beans from Costco or Sams?

Great video and very helpful! Can it do a single shot of espresso?
Hi Rob, it does not do a single shot, only a double or a quad. I'll also say the espresso shots are quite strong. Peter
@@PeterHudsonaz thanks Peter, much appreciated

I’m sooooo coming down for coffee!
Thanks Peter!

Just FYI you do tamp for the quad shot. It was flashing at you when it finished grinding.
You do need to tamp it a bit... but shaking does a pretty good job. Thanks for the comment. Peter
What about the dialin' in procedures? You have to make some cups before using this machine regularly
Hi Lalala, I have used the machine literally twice a day, every day since I have had the machine and only had to do the 'dial-in procedure' on the initial brew. instructions say to tamp the quad with the filter guard on and then again with it off
Yep! I do it as well. I learned the hard way. Thanks for the comment. Peter
Did anyone else have trouble changing out the baskets?
I am not sure what you mean by changing out the baskets? They definitely fit tightly in the portafilter. I just pull the basket out and make sure I am lining up the basket correctly in the portafilter. No other issues. Peter
The baskets are tight in the portafilter. Just keep pulling on them and it will get easier.
Yes.. very hard to remove
Milk always after espresso
Wow 11 grind? Why does mine recommend 1 ground size
From what I have read, it has to deal with the coffee beans used and the drink you are making. Beyond that I'm not sure. Peter
Need fresh roasted beans
Wiil, You deliver??
For you, absolutely.
