Who is complaining about boaters coming ashore? WITAF There’s so much more to worry about than people living on boats. Leave ‘em alone, they’re not congesting your roads or taking low income housing. Give them access ffs.
No one is cutting access to anything. There's another dock nearby, which is half a block away from another Publix. This news article is biased, and it was obviously intended to get people wound up. Just like you are.
lol being dramatic much? there's other docks in Miami they are fine. The issue isn't they are liveabording its they are anchoring in the middle of the bay instead of in a marina
This is the rich boat owners verses the ppl living on boats that often look like homeless encampments on the water. Often the rooves leak, they are covered in tarps.. think homeless encampment but on the water. This couple is not probably who they are actually targeting... but alas they bear the brunt of the decision to cut off the people who are literally living in boats that are not fit to be on the water. It doesn't seem fair but these ppl are often guilty of throwing their waste water, and garbage into the ocean, so it makes sense that the other boat owners and ppl with homes nearby don;t want to see that, or encourage those ppl from throwing anchor there.
I hope this couple wins. It seems like the rich people don't want to share. I don't understand why it's a problem for them to go into town and shop since it's bringing in revenue 🤔

Yeah rich people upset over nonsense. I lived on a boat in Key West and no problems. There is a place called the city marina dinghy dock, showers and docking for a small fee. Most all the boats anchored or in the mariana are retirees and working people on the Island.

I suggest going to real estate agent, inquire who has doc not being used, rent a doc on one of the islands. Surfside, bal harbor. Coconut Grove. Otherwise dropping anchor. Boats are high dollar. Every 3 years clean paint hull. If your stickler. Then engine work. Expensive. Marina fees are gouging pockets lately.
Those ppl with docks don't want those ppl anchoring there.. that's the point.
