Groovy! I went for black last time because I wasn't sold on the silver - but if this is true aluminium it sounds yummy. Foveon stills maybe able to capture the finish for video.
Also, I think Gordon said that the USB-C can be used for headphones. Normally I wouldn't think that one generation would be a worthwhile upgrade, but they've just unloaded all the Goodies: Tim, Graeme and Bill, all at once.
i bet Kai is resposible for the dirty frontelement on the camera!

I bought an X100s from Digital Rev a few years ago. Brilliant little camera. Gets more use than any of my other cameras. Love it!

I never thought I'd be excited by the X100 series, but I have to say, this one intrigues me. I'd consider this as a full-time carry around camera when I want something more than my phone, but not the heft of my XT setup.

I loved my X100S, but the shutter release was so stiff, it drove me crazy, and sometimes it would lead to moved photos. How is the shutter release in this one?

Nice video. I had the black version with the X100F and that was nice, but the silver does look really good this time around. That's odd they didn't get you a camera or two to mess around with minus the umbilical cord, lol.

This time, I think the black version is more beautiful. The only thing I don't like about the new version is the removal of the buttons on the rear. The new lens is a welcome change...sharper than the old one wide open :-)

You showed the problem with the mixed shutter speed / ISO button so fine... 2:56 When you set the ISO, you accidental changed the shutter from A to 1/4000 ;)

Why they kept 2.5mm audio jack on x100v? Fuji recently released x-t200 with 3.5mm audio jack.
This is the camera for me :) - I've waited a long time to get a decent camera which ticks all my boxes, and this one does it for me.
I understand the silver one looks premium, but I still think I'll take the safer option and go for the black one :)

@@BLEEJazz absolutely love it & wouldn´t actually go away from it. Tho I´ve had issues twice already. Once Panasonic did repair it (under warranty) - died on me ...heavy use I guess in Canada. Yes it is a camera but for me it shall function it´s a tool so it takes some beaten (don´t get me wrong I do always take good care of my gear :-), it´s just the impacts of using it all the time & anywhere)
And currently Iam having an issue with dust in the lens & sensor area so the weather "sealing" is really tempting

Weather sealing is a great addition to the X100 series! I own the X100F, can anyone comment on how resistent it is to some light rain? 😬
X100f is actually pretty robust. A lot of users have used it in drizzles or light snowfall with no problems. This might lead to long term longevity issues though.
Really hoping Sony will eventually consider giving their a7 kind a selfie flippy screen, it’ll be closer to complete then. ☺️

Just had a mate who picked up the black- 'stealth' for street (oh... and the flippy screen).
The pop up and stay ISO dial is really nice. SO WHY THE HELL DIDN’T THEY PUT ON THE PRO-3 I JUST BOUGHT? What, did they just think this up last week or something?
I have a 100 F and it is wonderful camera for street and travel photography. I hope the new will be better for video... :)

If it's got most of the xpro3 features and a better screen and the Xpro3's OVF doesn't work with Tele or superwides then isn't this technically the perfect Xpro?

This tilt screen on x100v make more senses than xpro-3. Never thought, I would need tilt screen, until I had one. Now, I won't buy a camera without one.
Any word on the XT-4? Keen to see your take on that one when released.

I seriously want one, but I do find it a little funny how everyone is so excited about a thin flip screen that is basically the same as the 2016 Lumix GX80 one.
Anyone one know if the lens hood and adapter from a F will fit? Does the colour match?

im a panasonic shooter the GX8 is for me the best looking lumix all time. only the specs are old this days and I hope for a new one the GX10 now I see this beutiful fuji and im a panasonic lover but this is nice.

Have you done a review on Canon 90D yet?
Really temped to buy this and sell my X100T but its just so annoying that they didn't make the lens sealed. I don't think the adapter with a filter will fit in the full leather case when attached. I don't want to keep switching. It's like changing lenses which i hate, hence why i use an X100 series.
