Tim's and MacDonald's are a social experience, fresh coffee and fresher gossip. Some people go four times a-day. But there is like a meet-up early evening if you miss the 7 - 9 am group. They used to meet at McDonald's years ago when smoking was allowed. Times have changed. Now it's all about the wi-fi, which you can get at both. Sunday's you will see the local bike people (they are not an organized biker club, just locals). Personally I like McDonald's coffee over Timmy's.
What's going on with Tim Horton's these days? What's the policy towards homeless people sleeping in the restaurant? The location I frequent twice daily(706 Queenston Road, Hamilton, ON) seems to be a shelter for the homeless. Every morning and evening, there is a homeless person sleeping in the restaurant. On top of that, they always use the best sets in the restaurant for their naps. I don't know what king of health hazards they may have and may be leaving behind, but I can't take it anymore. It's time to go elsewhere, like Starbucks or McDonalds. I don't see people sleeping there........
I work for tims and that cashier is not fast amd dose not do her job right 1 when a customer comes in ur to acknowledge them w in the 1st 3secs of them coming to the counter 2 she was rude and did not seem to be giving him her full attention and 2 mins to make 2 coffes is crazy in 2 mins in drive thru i can have 15 cars done w all there orders
Actually usually at Tim Hortons you pay at the cash and move to the counter to get your order. It was probably sat on the counter then brought over to you at the cash when they notice thats where you stayed. No biggie, hope you enjoyed it.
