The boss gaius; I was only able to help one host using this strategy to defeat him only because the host and other summon kept his agro long enough for me to get off charged lightning strike. I took away about half its health bar. I did another strike moments after but didn’t deplete his health bar as much do to him agroing host that was far and he lunged to the host. I ended up dying during second lightning strike because he back kicked my ass when I got the strike off. Any other host I tried helping. They wouldn’t hold his agro and he kept jumping all over the place. I couldn’t get off a successful strike

for all the lightning its fth and arcane the arcane is for the catalyst hes using to get more scaling damage and boom youre set theres your main stats faith and arcane
I didn’t have the full build but I was surprised at how much damage I did to the dlc boss gaius as a summon. 2 lightning strikes almost killed it. I ended up dying in the middle of the second strike. The host and other summon went to town on the rest of his health as I just faded away. They didn’t defeat fast enough for me to get the victory. It was still fun tho watching that health bar diminish as people struggle with that boss
can further increase dmg by having madding hand out when u trigger madness. buff lasts after u switch weapon. i can even further increase dmg if u switch out the bleed for poisoned buff by eat raw meat dumpling which also saves few secs cuz the animation with kindred of rot exultation, mushroom crown, poisoned hand.
Tested this on 4 bosses so far and it failed every time. No more effective than just using the talismans and the incantation without all the other garbage 😅

SIIICK! But, not very safe sad to say. But still pretty much the best thing ever haha. That being said I think the chicken wing/finger print shield combo is best. Get in there all beefed up with the shield raised and all the buffs you can think of. Some protection too since enemies hit hard some times. Some baddies are immune to bleed to use other stuff. Chicken wing with savage lion claw knocks folks down big time. Also... Blasphemous blade is nerfed but also, better than ever actually thanks to the magma talisman shaped like the dragons head haha. So it's kind of the best weapon in the game still. Kills like 95% of bosses. Rad dan of the dlc and a few others require a more safe approach but yeah this is basically how it is.

“You are now ready to attack” -is completely unuseable against any actual bosses behind mist doors. Because the buffing process takes 30 seconds. Any boss will kill you before you have time for this.
@@zhxnqu Make sure you have rolling sparks ash of war on the perfume bottle. Then go to an enemy and DON’T lock onto them. Fire the rolling sparks (L2 or LT) underneath the enemy on the ground.
