which shows you just how dead Any% is in this game. EVERYONE and their mom is running all remembrances because its more fun, requires less luck surprisingly, and brings more viewers as well.
Of all the gaming challenges I've seen, the Steam Refund is probably my all-time favorite. It's so classic and always funny when someone has to spend hundreds just to be able to beat it.
Why spend hundreds? Most of them practice on their main account which already owns the game. If they see they're not going to make it before 2h, they just refund it and try again on a new account.
@@Klearith idk what most people do when they try these runs but i prefer people like lilaggy during his steam refund runs because if he fails he doesnt just quit out then refund and restart, he will deadass make 5 different accounts and spend hundreds of dollars just to refund it once on the successful run😭. I feel like you shouldnt even do it if youre not willing to finish out the run and need to buy the game yet again just for a second attempt, kinda defeats the purpose of the challenge since the whole point is you lose money if you lose the run.
(this run was great too though cause bushy just beat it first try anyway which is impressive, but aggy needed like 5 or 6 tries to do it for dark souls 1 or 3 i dont remember which, and he needed like 2 tries to do sekiro, havent seen that video in a while)
The absolute wrecking balls on this man to detour for the Frenzied Flame ending with 3 major bosses to go, and with Mohg in the way too.

So excited to see the more than one month and half absence pays off 💯.
By far the most impressive part of this was first-trying the Frenzied Fall. I thought for sure he was going to do the invincible riposte on the merchant, but I guess he meant it when he said he was going big dick mode.
The bird gauntlet is one of the more frustrating areas of the game if you don't go through and pick them off one at a time. Real RNG if you can survive it after they nerfed BHstep. This run was incredible btw, I can't believe the smoothness through which you not only rip through this game in record time, but actually go through one of the most difficult platforming challenges like it's a breezy Super Mario bros sesh.
Those falcons took more attempts for me than rykard
There was another youtuber who said he would do something similar, already having done it with some other Soulsborne games, but he has not delivered so far. Quite happy to see you come in clutch and do it instead, and if that other youtuber does it later anyway, then it's just more stuff for me to watch :)

aggy is probably scared he's gonna have another dark souls incident where he needed like 5 or 6 attempts and spent like $250 just to refund one time😭(though to be fair in that run he was doing all bosses whereas in elden ring all bosses or all remembrances would be impossible but at the same time regular any% glitchless is just very easy)

Watching this run got me looking into glitchless any% for Elden ring. At first I was like "glitchless under 2 hours? no way" then I looked at the leaderboards and saw 1 hour runs. It's crazy to see how far people can push the game of Elden ring with only intended mechanics
I like the videos where he has fun and genuinely gets to enjoy himself instead of the sheer suffering that happens in some of the challenges.

22:54 Soldier of God has 99 poise/second regen (the only enemy in the game besides Crystalians (who don't regen poise at all) that regens poise at a different rate than the standard 13 poise/second). He doesn't have that much poise, but you have to deal an amount of poise damage greater or equal to his poise value *in one hit* to be able to stance break him.
Gahdamn Rick really is the final boss huh, i was wondering why ive never stance broken him, i though it was just cause he always dies too quickly

Run idea: can you beat elden ring only using items purchased from one merchant. Pick any merchant in the game and you can only use whatever items they sell.
Knowing you've done so many challenge runs in elden ring, for some reason having you say "i've never speedrun elden ring" took me off guard. Like, idk i still slotted you in the same category as elden ring speedrunners in my head so it made me do a double take. Great video!!
I feel like this video would benefit from clarifying what's meant by "no research ahead of time" because let's be honest there's a huge difference between just not researching speedrun routes and not researching anything because as a person who's never watched this channel before it feels a bit odd to hear "no research" and then you open up instantly rattling off a laundry list of everywhere you need to go and everything you need to get like you've either done extensive research on items and their locations or you've got 1000+ hours in the game already

Great vid, but I didn't like your statement at beginning "no research, no practice" - yes, I'm aware it implies "no research and practice in making 2 hour run", but considering your huge experience as well as knowledge, it's a bit misleading. You had a whole route and exact idea how to do this run, in other words, you've been working for past year to prepare yourself for this run - RESEARCH and PRACTICE.
I'm absolutely new to the channel, and once I heard this statement I thought "wow for real? a newbie to elden will do that?!" and right after the sponsor segment I was like "riiight, ok, so we got a guy who may as well beat whole elden ring as no hit run with SL1, I feel cheated".
