@@MasonFilippi thats insanely fast! Was the laptime limited by the OE pirelli tyre? Already ordered an 5N..maybe spring or summer time it will arrives..and i want to switch to Conti Sportcontact7 asap..to be able to reach better laptimes. What is your impression overall? I am very interested!
So that's 7% per lap. For comparison, my GR86 consumes roughly 2.5% of its fuel tank worth of fuel per lap, while making a third of the power of the 5N. If I put enough force induction for a 1:39 lap time purely on power, my car would consume much more fuel, and the difference in fuel/battery depletion rate between it and the 5N would be minor.
You’re ignoring the fact that Hyundai recommends never going below 30% charge on track. And good luck keeping a consistent 7% at all charge levels. Even more luck on cold days or extremely hot days.
@@johnrobinson6882don’t need luck. If you go on the track for 20min, you have to use endurance mode, not sprint mode. Capacity is not the problem, it’s limited by battery temperature not by capacity.
The engine sound is really good.
wow for an OE car that lap time is awesome, probably the EV i am most excited for
I love that artificial sound tbh. Just sounds awesome to me. 👌🏽
The sound and hitting the rev limiter is SO COOL ,Hyundai have done an excellent job lol it’s hard to believe all that is artificial 😅
Few years you'll be racing the N Vision 74 I heard 😊😊😊
So much fun!
Dayum!
wow. He drives really well. I feel nervous just looking at it.
What is the point of paddle shifters and the sound?
Obviously to be a more exciting driving experience like an ICE car.
Sound helps driver's speed sense.😊😊😊
Whats the time?
Half past eight here bro!
1.39!

@@Master321vyes! Everything is OE!
@@MasonFilippi how did you feel the car overall?
Still love my Veloster N lol
But it's electric
That's an astute observation.
71% to => 64% in 1 lap
In fact, that's not too much.

Ioniq 5N is build for 20/20/20
20min on track
20min recharge
20min on track
And you can repeat this circle
