Have you looked at the price of your Canon R5? How did you get that for $900? Its not even nearly in the same league.. Compare your pro gear with an A1 or something, not with a $900 APSC body... For $200 over the ZV-1, its not a horrible deal, you get to swap glas and nobody forces you to buy the kit lens. And presumably the same dead-on tracking-AF If you use an $3500 Canon body, you're not even in the same market. And in the A5100 body, it'll be very small and you'll be more likely to carry it. If you combine that with a 24mm pancake a 50mm and a 12mm Samyang, you got a lot covered without needing a large, heavy bag. Sure, for some things full frame is just better, but that'll be $1600 for the body minimum if you buy new, plus a lot more money for the same glass for full frame. And for TH-cam, nobody is even going to see the difference.
@@b2bfusion Still waiting to see the actual new model, but the 24mm ? maximum wide angle to say 16mm equivalent ! I do have the adaptor but its a bit heavy and awkward to put on when needed ! A slightly more robust body! I have a cage but almost an essential accessary item ! Still love the ZV-1 so won't be changing just for cosmetic upgrade !
Cool, I was asking Camila around Cs dissatisfaction. I am contemplating purchasing either one right now (once the 10 comes out of course.). I do two person interviews in a variety of lighting situations. Portability is key.
I said on another channel I believe that this is a budget camera that you will see in Walmart target etc. for the mass market and they will sell a lot more of these then they would the Folks that are willing to pay more for a new latest and greatest camera
Yeah fair point, think they know what they are doing in terms of target market. Just a bit frustrating that a few years ago every camera they put out was ground breaking in some way pushing the envelope and now they seem happy to just regurgitate the same parts/features in slightly tweaked models.
Yes you will notice a difference and jump In quality particularly in low light because this cameras sensor will gather much more light than your phone. Which phone are you using?
@@BearifyJin make sure you never keep it in the back pocket of your jeans... But yeah, smart phones take generally "good enough" pictures, but as soon as it gets dark ewww. Even with their electronic processing, making for an amazing low-light shot on your phone's display, when you load those shots on the computer, things suddenly look real ugly. Not easy to fix either, even software like Capture One or Luminar can't really fix that. Even the old Sony Sensors from the Nex5R were really good in low light. But you had to manual focus, they couldn't focus for shit in low light. With the ZV-E10 (stupid name, shoulda just been ZV-10), you get the sensor out of the 6000 series, that's leaps above the old Nex models. So I'm sure it'll be more than good enough - even if its not another stunning leap. The overall package is going to be useful and above anything in the 6000 line in blogging features, color science etc - in a similar way as the Sony A7C, which doesn't have better specs than the A73, but it's got various little advantages built in.
Is the ZV-E10 a camera your excited for? Are you disappointed Sony seems to be forgetting about photographers for aps-c? Let me know your thoughts below.
the real seat for this ZV-E10 camera is in the garbage bin... an old camera, with old codecs, not even 4K 60P, a piece of garbage Sony is trying to sell for around 1000$... a piece of garbage made from old parts from the old stock bin.. instead of throwing these old parts in garbage they trying to sell them to us.
Noone cares about this new piece of garbage from Sony.... after 5 years from release of a6500, Sony cannot offer 4K 60p ... it is the same old model. 1000$ cost ? haha Put this shit in the garbage bin

Hoping they release an a6900 soon after this for photogs otherwise I’ll be getting Fuji
Right on. Thanks for the mention mate 🔥
Subscribed considering swapping in ZV-1 for ZV-E10
It will be a good upgrade from the ZV-1 👍
What don't you like about the ZV1 that you think this new model solves?
Interchangeable lens e-mount and a larger sensor are both huge upgrades to the ZV1 in my opinion. Gives someone much more flexibility.

You are right Sony is recycling old staff in APSC cameras since 10 years and right now is falling behind flagship smartphones...
What camera that’s coming out in the near future would you recommend for music video creations?
What budget?
@@cameracravings3216 800-1200$
A budget video camera is by definition not a high end photographic camera.
Yeah sony zv e10 is primarily for video creators since it does not have the image finder. Why would he compare it to a photography camera?
not even for video... this piece of garbage should cost around 400$ not 1000$
i'm gonna be getting this as an upgrade from using my smartphone, would it make any difference? or should i be looking at other models and brands?

Yes, biggest complaint about using A6600 for vlogging is the heavy lens and big camera size and the flip screen.
