    While I've been a TH-camr for a while, I still love learning about cameras and shooting and just bought the EV-10. This video was hands down better than everything else I've come across for setting up the camera and shooting different things. Thanks for this!

    Thank you for this video Sean! I'm a Canon user and started using the ZV-E10 because I wanted to start shooting quality videos in 4k at 30 fps. The Sony happened to be a camera under $1,000 so I made the investment while treating my Canon M50 as my B cam. I appreciated your simple walkthrough in this video. A lot of creators are just telling viewers "what to do" compared to "how it works" and so I appreciated your explanations for each setting.

      Also, the account I'm using to comment is my filmmaking channel, but I also am using the Sony ZV-E10 for both of my reaction channels and music channel.

I'm looking to get this camera for my music performance videos (as in shooting guitars-keyboards in different angles as cinematically as possible etc) and this one probably will do the job. I haven't found any specific video for shooting objects (with hands moving on them lol), but I believe the talking head settings you mentioned will come handy.

    I just bought this yesterday for a trip I have coming up and I didn't want to bring my canon r5. I used to own a g7x mark ii but sold that a while back. I was going to purchase the g7x mark iii but TikTok was overflowing with the zv-e10 so I figured I give it a try. Hello, good video I took a smooth panning shot from left to right side by hand with the zony zv-e10 with the stabilizer activated, the best of the three with the 10-18 f4 oss lens (the old one) and when watching the video in The computer makes like jumps between lines, it's not the gelatin effect, it's not like the frames overlap, the speed I used is 1/30 at 24 fps, is it the camera, is it my settings, is it my lens? Do you have any ideas, thank you very much

    great video! I need to learn more about aperture, shutter speeds and ISO combinations. It has been years since I had to do this. For example, when in a very bright outdoor setting, with Auto ISO and a 3.5A, what SS is best? 1/800 looked the best to my eye, and the lower I went, 1/500 for example, it was too bright - washing everything out.

    Thanks for all your videos, have been a big help. My sole intent of ZV-E10 is opening products/trading cards on youtube videos. I have uploaded my 2 now, first video i shot was out of box settings, 2nd was these settings for most part. Am following along. After some testing with the kit lens i opted to go with the 10-20mm F4 G. Any tips appreciated to help this production of mine. That is stock mic. I need some lighting help it seems as well as i am using led bulbs in ceiling light and a Snap on Shop light (its bright). I hate seeing my shadow and the red light in the cards (I should maybe turn front red light off for this type). Those types of issues make it look so amateur. Thanks again.

    Man I just ordered this camera, your tweaks are amazing. Does the vlog setting work for streaming? Or would it default to out of the box settings once you connect it to usb? Another question (I'm a noob) what's the difference between using usb C instead of hdmi? I've seen a lot of streamers using hdmi with their cameras for streaming, but you used usb C on a precious video.
    Thanks in advance.

      Thank you and NICE - enjoy the new camera. If you're newer, I'd suggest intelligent auto for streaming and over time consider the manual settings. HDMI will offer better resolutions at times for some cameras, but the USB-C connect with this camera is so fast and easy

      Unfortunately, no. The camera needs to have that toggle to activate certain settings, but the memory recall should help you a lot.

    Towards the end of the video, you went through some scenarios of different video settings and implied there’s a way to save them. I watched the other video, you can only recall one memory. Did I miss anything?

    • @seandewispelaere
      @seandewispelaere  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you keep regular “M” more for video as one of your settings and also make sure you use a MR for photo then then regular “M” for video will act as an additional “memory recall” container
