I like how despite living in a hellhole of crime, he was able to find a girlfriend who respects and supports his interests, going as far as to help him and postpone the activity she really was looking forward to doing to do so. If Anger Foot can do it, so can you. Stay strong bros.
the 'nice city' ending is actually really well put together. I like this ending because it messes with you, and slowly shows you *why* it's the bad ending, rather then just straight up telling you. "you wake up, in another morning. your once comfortable, lose, and rebellious outfit, replaced with a sturdy, sharp business suit. and your high and mighty sneaker collection, now just a shelf for brown-n'-dull office shoes. you look out the window to see the morning light shine in. everyone outside seems free, and content. that statue reminding you of the deal you made. you think: "maybe I was wrong, crime isn't the answer." your entire character now remolded from an angry blood-hungry killer, to a nice, and honorable man, as you gently open the door, stepping into the pristine new world. the hallways now pathed with gold and light. as you walk through the halls, the janitor spots you, and he just looks at you. judging you with that frown on his face. when you finally make it to the office, the intense clicking of keys now replaces the once high-octane music that amplified your movements. now it just makes you slowly walk over to your desk as everyone around you looks at you the same way that janitor did. judging you on your choice. they aren't content, and they aren't free. and they blame you for it. as you sit down, and get ready for work; you look down and see those two pictures: of your girl friend, and your favorite pair of sneakers. deep down, you still miss those days, but those are behind you now, and there is nothing you can do to bring them back. you start the computer, and accept your new life."
Date Night = Good/romantic ending for Anger Foot (City remains the same as other gangs take over) Nice City = Bad/boring ending for Anger Foot (City is not murder capital of the world, but life is bland and full of mediocrity)
Damn...! I somehow felt the bad things in the "Change" ending: First and foremost, Anger Foot not only change the city from Crime to Nice, but his once-proud sneakers turned to...only-business shoes. Secondly, he lost his girlfriend, probably by two ways: either she left Anger Foot to continue the rebellious crime somewhere else, OR she also "change" as well and is working in a different department rather than together. (Though, it would be NICE to see her face behind that mask. Just saying.) And third, his name's probably not "Anger Foot", but more like "Business Foot" or "Calm Foot".....or "Happy Feet". lol
Yeah, life in Nice City felt pretty unpleasant! Also, Anger Foot moves much slower there (a slow shuffle) and there's no option to kick doors open! Pressing F to open a door felt pretty damn weird after kicking them in for a whole game!

I come up with the ideas for them and do some initial sketches, and then I commission Ken from El Pichon Games (creator of The Bunny Graveyard) to animate them. If you like the art style I'd really recommend checking out The Bunny Graveyard, it's really cool. :)

Haha, yeah well spotted, that's an edit. I wanted to show off the upstairs area, but didn't see the point of exploring it each time I retried the level (it's a very tough level!)
something that i noticed is that the crime minister besides being your typical politician that lies and does not do what he promises is at the start in the animated intro of the game saying that the gangs answer to him, there is the model of the "nice city", also when thinking about it he probably did not do anything to help crime since anything bad that happens in the city (his fault or not) is going to be blamed on him because anything bad is always blamed on politicians !and everyone likes him for that! 1:00:58 , the vote C.R.I.M.E is an acronym to trick people when it probably means something like "Criminal Rehabilitation, Intervention, and Management Education" (do not know if it is the real acronym, i came up with it) the crime minister is a cool character in my opinion with his design and everything, though is a shame we did not get a final boss battle with him i think is reasonable that he is not good at fighting since he is not a real "criminal" like the jaywalker guy (or maybe we catch him by surprise idk)
Oh really? That's a shame. It ran pretty well on my PC (aside from a couple of times times when there were ridiculously huge explosions). It's probably quite a CPU intensive game as there's a LOT of physics going on at times. I'm sure they'll be able to sort something out in an update. :)
@@AlphaBetaGamer yeah the CPU seems to be the problem. They acknowledged it and work on a fix. I mean if people have the same probs with a 4070 and an I9 then there must be something wrong

I think the funniest thing about this game is that 'Nice City' is bad because everybody is genuinely just having a good time criming it up out there

The pressing "F" to gently open the doors really got me. It felt really weird after kicking them down (with "E") the whole game. :)
