My addiction is something called Imposter Syndrome. I've put hours a day into practicing and studying writing for 38 years and am FINALLY ready to finish a novel to publish after decades of telling myself I'm not good enough. Self-sabotage/Self-abuse/Self-doubt are all addictive. It gives you an excuse that's "out of your control" to fail before you even try to succeed. And I've absolutely been an addict for this beast for many, many decades. Thank you, Michael. As usual, your videos seem to release JUST at the right time for me!

trauma addiction, toxic shame, only feeling identity or safety inside a negative narrative/life story. In the end, a self imposed prison.
So true there are so many addictions from being mistreated that often don't include drugs or alcohol.
addiction is like hitting a wall with your head trying to break thru expecting one day everything will change for better, meanwhile being aware there is door one step away to new potential infinite possibilities/ perspectives to see reality near you but you still choose the same fimiliar wall from past saying again "this day ... one last time, tomorrow ill use the door"

Gambling addiction, smoking weed and smoking have been stopped today! The universe brought me to you. Blessings for your gift of this healing. I could really do with it at the moment. Meditation is an incredible tool for ADHD. It trains us how to refocus our brains on the task at hand when they get distracted which is very frequent as you know. Don't overwhelm yourself though, just start with a few minutes to focus on what your breathing FEELS like.

This is the video I've needed most in the little over a year I've been watching these videos. I've battled addiction since 2012 when I lost my leg in a motorcycle wreck. Psychedelics, searching my inner spirituality, these videos, and my close circle have been the biggest help in my life. I can't explain it somehow this wave of calmness comes over me anytime I watch/listen to reiki video. Thank you for what you do ❤

Hey, I just wanted to mention that I have just started watching the TH-cam channel for baddie in business. She actually gives step by step instructions for starting online businesses for little or no money. Her courses are all free. She also follows the belief in God as you have mentioned. If you want to check it out she advises to go to the playlist under the one that says "start here". I think it's a fantastic channel for anyone struggling financially.

For the past 8 months since I was homeless I learned so much from meditation and still continuing learning yet. I was not addicted to anything like drugs, alcohol, or smoking but there is one addiction that is embarrassing to say and I came here to put a stop to myself by fighting away the negative thoughts. Tonight I have extreme faith in myself to change and clean up my negative mindset but like Michael said "it takes time to heal so don't punish or push yourself too hard." Hi. Thank you. I'm a born again Christian of four years, and not supposed to do reiki. I've allowed your videos in because they are so real and you seem sincere. Or maybe it's because you look like the image of Jesus! I was a reiki practitioner myself before, but I left it behind as I was too leaky, too sick, too open. I'm far better now but still struggling with complete healing of my organs, and struggling with my self medication. I weep through some of your videos. They move me because I really feel like another human is helping me at that moment. Maybe it's a release. The tears, they quietly fall and fall. Drug & alcohol abuse is incredibly high in Australia (probably every country) and its incredibly heart breaking.
