Recreational marijuana is officially legal across the state of Maryland. This means anyone 21 and over now can purchase marijuana products as long as they show their ID.
Soooooo now that the government gets a cut does this mean all of those non-violent people who only sold bud to make extra money on the side get out of jail and their records cleaned also do those non-violent people get to enter the Marijuana industry with no charge ????
I was there today! What a good time I showed up at 9am waiting maybe 30 mins with music and got some free stuff. Picked up Jack herer flower and a few disposables and pre rolls definately going to continue going to goldleaf. There was a lady who said "wtf this is like the chick fil a for weed" 😂😂 she wasn't wrong those people were on their game!
Maryland makes itself more like Portland… This is going to turn out very well… but at least the state gets their 30 pieces of silver out of it. It’s amazing what becomes legal when the government can get their cut.
So you hit a logic wall… I asked how this would improve the situation in a state like Maryland. So Maryland makes itself more like Oregon and by simple geography Baltimore more like Portland. So these conditions that Maryland has opened itself up to (Baltimore included because that’s the area always in the news) will improve how? It’s a simple question because legislative actions have a cumulative impact on a society over time.
